I’ve said for a long time now that the fixation on Barack Obama’s birth certificate is a distraction.
I think Barack Obama is a natural born American citizen because his mother was indisputably an American citizen. I think he meets the residency requirements. And I think that Justice Scalia himself would not throw the President out of office now that he has been sworn in.
The issue is moot.
Fixating on it now is wasting time, precious time, when there are other issues on which those with time on their hands can fixate.
Barack Obama not releasing his birth certificate fits a pattern of non-disclosure from the man.
Most notoriously, Barack Obama allowed is campaign to accept foreign donations, a matter that got passing mention from the Washington Post and not much else.

Which is precisely the reason to keep it in play.
Don’t you guys see? “They Won”. The Dems are not going to care how full their fax bins are or how many emails some schmuck sends from a website. They have the majority and they can pass Cap and Tax, Obamacare and anything else they want.
Our only option until the 2010 elections is to keep pulling them off message, wasting their energy and airtime playing defense. Look at what has dominated the news cycle the last week - a “stupid” comment by Obama who is supposed to be the great communicator. Look what has been happening to his poll numbers.
These are the levers we have right now.
Proof of citizenship. Birth certificate, naturalization papers, consular report of birth abroad, or certificate of ctizenship.

It hopeless! I read a thread today on FR where somebody, somewhere called us a bunch of nuts, “Ants” I think but said that we were fun to watch because we were so diligent.
I’ve been arguing all day. First, with the birthers on one thread. Then people on another thread who think speculating in oil and driving the price to $4/gal was a good thing for America.
OMG, I love FR, but sometimes it is so frustrating. I would hate to be a vacuum cleaner salesman trying to go door to door to freepers. I could throw dirt on the floor, vacuum it all up, and they would be down there on the floor with an electron scanning microscope examining the fibers.
Heck, they p*ss me off sometimes but I love ‘em.

Your bio says your are “passionate” about history. I could never bear hearing about history because there are just too many versions and lies. For example, we are seeing history being made now and can see the lies being recorded as facts. I am passionate about getting to the truth and won’t be distracted by enablers such as yourself.
LOl, maybe be "presidential historians", like Doris Kearns Goodwin and the few others that are constantly trotted out by the MSM.
Or presidential biographers.

I assure you. Nobody will ever “prove” that Obama is not a natural born citizen. Further, nothing will happen if evidence is produced to that effect. Nothing. I’m quite confident of that. Even if it is true, and you’re right - you won’t be able to prove it.A word of advice Mr. Emmanuel, you might get a lighter sentence if you cooperate with prosecutors.
By conservatives I mean the leadership. Where was it on this issue? Never was there an effort to take Obama down. This was left to Hilary, because the leadership was terrified of being dubbed racist. So I guess I have answered my own question.
He has been anointed by the Establishment, which means both parties.
Oh you missed it today when the dang Blue Dog Dems caved in to Waxman. And they had to do right after I bragged on them on this thread. I left the GOP after 30 years, to join the criminal party. Now I may have to quit the Dems and go to the Green Party. This is getting frustrating.

It works on more than one level.
It seems as though if he has been going through life unable to produce a birth certificate for things like his passport then it would be easy to find out which document he is using in place of it.

Push the issue. Don't ridicule it. Nurish it, don't starve it. He only has to release a simple document. He won't. He is a fraud. This might destroy the democrat party.
Distraction? LoL! It's not helping the Dims any in the polls that continue their downward spiral. Not working...not much of a distraction. Maybe we need more of this distraction.
