The several states are lining up to reclaim their sovereignty and telling the federal government to butt out. This is being done in myriad ways but all are related in that most claim that the Tenth Amendment protects the states from federal tyranny. States are passing resolutions, memorials and two states have passed laws and they intend to apply those laws for their citizens. The two states are Montana and Tennessee.

It was expected that at some point these laws would be challenged and it appears actions to do such has begun. The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has published open letters to federal firearms license holders in Montana and Tennessee explaining that federal law trumps state law when it comes to gun laws

I’ll becha a 10 spot that the legal people in the State’s that are telling the Fed to pound sand know of these decisions also. They must have something up their sleeve.

If you live in Montana or Tennessee, and have family, don't be a needless martyr.

Fed law trumps state law, and after the New Deal there is no area that isn't covered under the Interstate Commerce clause.

The ATF will kill someone over this.

When federal funds are withheld, so should federal taxes.

Did you notice how fast Tim McVeigh was executed? Nary a lib protested his execution. Makes you wonder.

“The gov’t cannot function without tax revenue.

That is exactly what the fed is afraid of: We the people and the States defunding them. They want to use full threats and force to try to make us pay. If we defund them, any actions they take would be over fairly quickly as they have nothing to run on.

We are headed for a Constitutional Crisis. The bulk of the military will never fire on the people of this country. When zero orders the US military to fire on it’s family, friends, and neighbors the SHTF. I trust the great men and women in uniform to do their duty.

I wonder if the people in those tanks would fire on their fellow citizens?

I remember when the Soviets took Gorby, and Yeltsin went out in the street and demanded they bring him back.

The tanks were rolling down the street, but in the end the people in the tanks just did not have the resolve to fire on him and the people in the street.

"Maybe just Austin and Cheyenne."

Well, I don't know about Cheyenne, but they can take out the People's Republic of Austin any time they want ....

We'll see what happens when us country folk stop feeding the population masses, or we cut off their electricity and sabotage their ability to travel.

they will inspire secession at the rate they try to stop it. The chaos that will follow will keep the bureaucrats busy enough trying to stop intercity riot after riot. It will become Soylent Green all over again.

Washington would just print more money making it more worthless! Like they have been doing for the last 50 years.

The ATF launched the first raid.

The FBI the second.

both the ATF and the FBI trained at the nearby military base that was commanded by the infamous ... Wesley Clark.

“Those seeking an investigation of his part in the Waco outrage say that Clark not only played a hidden role in the military-style assault on the Branch Davidians, but easily could have refused to participate in what was a clear violation of the Posse Comitatus Act that bars use of the U.S. military for civilian law-enforcement activities.

I wonder if the people in those tanks would fire on their fellow citizens?

I think some would, for several reasons. 1) Soldiers have always been drilled to follow to orders without questioning or hesitation. People will not ordinarily rush headlong into danger. Some would reflexively obey to fire. Remember Kent State? Remember Waco? 2) If the tank corps was screened to include only Party zealots 3) A lot of young people have been raised in such a moral vacuum that they literally don't know "right" from "wrong".
