Free Republic DC Convention Update and Important Deadline Information

For those of you who still have not purchased your tickets or reserved your rooms

TIME IS RUNNING OUT! YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RESERVATIONS MADE WITH THE SHERATON BY AUGUST 21, 2009!!

It's time to take our country back Freeper's, Don't let the deadline pass away - get your rooms reserved TODAY!

The Free Republic National Tea Party Convention will be held on September 11 - 13, 2009 at:

The Sheraton National Hotel
900 South Orme Street
Arlington, VA 22204

Rooms can be reserved for our negotiated convention rate of $116/night for single or double occupancy. The discounted group rate is available for convention attendees anytime during the period of September 7 through September 14.

Convention Admission

For each admission ticket you wish to purchase, you must enter a real name. You may also include a screen name or nick name that you would like to have printed on your name tag and your home state. Picture IDs will be required of adults at check-in.

The price of admission is $175 per person. The admission price is for the convention only. It does not include lodging. See info regarding room rates at the Sheraton.

Tickets are available through Free Republic's Secure Server; Credit Cards or Pay Pal accepted. https://secure.freerepublic.com/tickets/

Persons under 21 years of age will not be served alcoholic beverages. Persons under age 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tickets are non-refundable.

For each convention ticket please have the following information available:

First and Last Name

Freeper Nickname; or other name you would like printed on your name tag

Home State

E-mail Address of Contact

Payment will be accepted by Credit Card or Pay Pal

You are SO RIGHT, Amy! Our country does need ALL of us to do whatever we can to make our voices heard and hold all our elected officials accountable!

Free Republic is in need right now too! We need every Freeper who told us they were coming to our National Tea Party Freeper Convention to make sure their room is booked and purchasing their Convention tickets!

We heard from close to 350 Freepers who said they were coming to DC and our National FReeper Convention!

The deadline is August 21st, but it sure would be great to have everyone who is coming to follow through ASAP. See you all in DC!

Isn't it something that Brytani’s post just happened to land on FR at 9:11:17 on Tuesday!

Maybe this is a simple coincidence that should make us do our best to arrive in Washington, DC on 9/11 to attend our National Freeper Tea Party Convention!

And especially to join us on 9/11 at Walter Reed to honor our troops and then gather to pay a solemn tribute to all the 9/11 victims with a candlelight vigil overlooking the Pentagon. We vow to NEVER forget the 9/11 victims and our hearts go out to all their families and friends. May it bring them some comfort to know that millions of their fellow Americans will never forget their loved ones.

And just so Freepers know, Jackie Mason really wanted to join us on 9/12. He just could not make it due to his movie schedule. That is why he is making a video appearance just for Free Republic!

Jackie knows that members of Free Republic are true patriots who love God, country, family, work to defend our Constitutional freedoms, and always hunt for the truth. He knows that those in the MSM who try to discredit Free Republic are the same ones who try to do the same to Sarah Palin.

Jackie Mason is a true American patriot who certainly has the courage to tell it like it is!

You Betcha! I will be there! Just told my sweetie that if we couldn't find the funds to get to DC I would be out in the neighborhood selling my home made jams and jelly, cayenne peanut brittle, and chocolate candy! I don't mind mowing yards either! :)
