But what does hers list as her place of birth? I wish I could find where I read it, but I read that, yes, Hawaii will issue COLBs to those born elsewhere but it will still list where they were born. In other words, it won’t say they were born in Hawaii.

There is a photo online with the certificate number not blacked out (again, wish I could remember where I saw it. I roam the internet a lot and am not good at bookmarking my tracks). The explanation on the site I saw it was that at the time the Obama campaign released the scan they didn’t know if the cert. # was something that should be blacked out or not but have since learned it’s not necessary to block out.
But a pic of that cert. with the number intact is out there.

a child born of an American citizen can claim natural citizenship...you just register them with the embassy and they need to live in the US for part of their childhood.

No, its just not "best evidence". It is a secondary, derivative docuement. A certified reproduction of the as-filed "Certificate of Live Birth" is certainly preferable, and can be obtained from the State of Hawaii on request. And, to the best of my knowledge, a primary document is REQUIRED for certain purposes, such as applying for a passport, or enrolling in Little League.

Certification of live birth simply means Husseinama was born alive.

I have a question, this whole thing confuses me and I am trying to figure it out. When I got my kids birth certificate, I went to the local vital statistics office and filled out a form. They gave me a 1/2 sheet of paper that only has
Name (kids)
Sex
Date of Birth
Place of Birth (city)
Mothers Maiden Name
Fathers Name
Date Filed
Date Issued
It does have the file number, state seal, and registrars stamp.
I have a long(er) form BC myself (same state) but have never seen one for a youngster. Did they change everything? Could I request a long form from the state for my kids? This is the part that I can not quite grasp.
That certificate number is the number of the archival "Certificate of Live Birth". That's why it is described as the "Certificate Number" and not the "Certification Number." It is a reference to the primary document.
So, they know the Certificate number; pull up the file, copy it and give the nation a respite from all this nonsense.
Interestingly, on this site that contends that Obama's certificate is not real (because they claim it doesn't have raised seal, which other pictures of it show it does the example they show as a "real" certificate looks exactly like Obama's, ie. an electronic printout. Same with this purportedly "real" certificate.

The only evidence that Maya Soetoro has a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth comes from people who claim it was used as a template to forge Obama’s COLB. The evidence that Obama’s COLB is forged is weak. The evidence that Maya has a Hawaiian COLB is laughably weak.
