Six months after Barack Obama's inauguration, a persistent and noisy legion of doubters won't let go of an already debunked claim — that he is actually a foreign-born, illegal president.
Mainstream Republicans who want the issue to go away are having a tough time stamping it out as the so-called "birthers" resurface, with assists from talk show host Rush Limbaugh and CNN's Lou Dobbs.
Passions among the birthers run so high that Rep. Mike Castle, R-Del., was booed by his own constituents at a recent town hall meeting for saying Obama "is a citizen of the United States." He was responding to a woman who waved her own birth certificate, contended Obama was born in Kenya, and shouted, "I want my country back!"

AP and ALL of the State Run Media have been deep in-the-tank for Obama for two years. They are no less biased about the birth certificate issue.
Ha! Ha! Ha! The msm are showing their stripes. Similar story in The New York Times. Major Cook filed his amended suit in Florida. Glen Beck is on top of the story. Wait to see what happens this week. Either Glen or Lou breaks the story. Get your popcorn. This week will be fun.
Baraq had all of his life records sealed/hidden quite a while ago. Where was the gop? Where was mccain? Where was the RNC? The only one who gave him a difficult time was hillary, but then she pulled out when she got a deal for baraq to push her hillarycare nightmare. All this crap should have been vetted 18 months ago. But I have a sneaky suspicision that nobody wanted to be tagged as a racist. Looks like the race hustlers got their way to get their guy in office.
It doesn't matter where the comments are posted, here on FR or in papers and web journals across the country and overseas, the responses and misunderstandings and, of course, the insults are the same.
What a golden opportunity for a real, honest to goodness reporter to actually investigate and report to address this need.

McCain's natural-born issue came up during the 2004 Presidential campaign and at that time a few members of Congrss wanted to clarify the meaning of Article II, Section 1. Their proposals went over like a lead balloon. The planning for Obama's run in 2008 was well underway in 2004, IMHO

Well, all I can say is that it's tough having to be right all the time. She's as human as any of us, and is going to get something wrong once in a while. Even Ronaldus Magnus did, but we love him just the same.
In the end, I think what matters isn't that you get every single thing right, but that you simply get most things right.
Per Article 2, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution, one must be a natural born American citizen to serve as President. Barack Obama is NOT eligible for the Presidency because he is not a natural born citizen. John A. Bingham, primary framer, 14th Amendment, states- “Every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.” Obama himself has stated that he is the son of a Kenyan- Kenya being a foreign sovereignty. Thus, Obama is not a natural born citizen even if he were actually born in Hawaii.

Now Hawaii officials are saying that all birth certificates were destroyed in 2001. But on October 31, 2008, this contrary statement-
“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”
That would only fly in the GOP, and the GOP would not need it.
