White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel's brother, a physician, appointed to Obama health care job admits killing old people is the only way to cut costs!
DEADLY DOCTORS O ADVISERS WANT TO RATION CARE By BETSY MCCAUGHEY New York Post July 24, 2009"Communitarianism?" Sounds like ?Emanuel: Believes in withholding care from elderly for greater good. THE health bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They'd decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare.
Yet at least two of President Obama's top health advisers should never be trusted with that power.
Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research.
Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. "Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely 'lipstick' cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change," he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, "as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others" (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008). Yes, that's what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.
Many doctors are horrified by this notion; they'll tell you that a doctor's job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time. Emanuel, however, believes that "communitarianism" should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those "who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens . . . An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia" (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. '96). Translation: Don't give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson's or a child with cerebral palsy.
He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: "Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years" (Lancet, Jan. 31).

“As seniors do “the right thing we’ll do just fine.”
And what pray tell is right thing, just lay down and die quietly without complaining?
“AARP lowering age limit.”
I guess..someone has to pay darn dues.
Amen.
You can check at Feldman’s website “Common Sense from Common Man”...he has a page by page, line by line breakdown that’s short and to point.
Slight typo on your part, now corrected.
BTW, the 535 maggots infesting the U.S. Capitol building in Washington are excluded from this POS legislation too, so I've been told.
Hey, what a great way to get rid of a snippy Inspector General!
Just in case, my replay was "Headline?"
It's not a real story. I am a member of AARP and it seems that all their publications back Obama's health care 100%. I have not read every word in the publications they send to members but it seems that no criticism of Obama is allowed.
“I have to ask, when did we as a people begin to value life so cheaply?”
Since 100 million had to die to perfect Marxism/communism
throughout history. And we have a Marxist Potus.
Now there's a name loaded with end-times Biblical prophecy significance! Although Dems think that Emanuel means "Obama is with us."
I do not want to be warder boarded; i.e., prevented from health care by a government board of guards standing in the way.
Your post is excellent tagline material.
It’s Planned Grandparenthood!
“Every parent a planned and wanted parent...”
Not yet! We still have too many people that need deprogramming from the 2008 election. It isn't until they see their job prospects dry up and the stimulous money going to waste that some will wise up then hopefully rise up.
Actually I thought you hit nail on head with AARP attitude, it’s like they all have dementia...and my understanding is Gov’t won’t be treating that either...so AARP may want to get some insight on this bill.HR3200.
Have you read it, or at least short version clips from Fleckman “Common Sense from Common Man” who has read it line by line and explained on his website. I saw THE JOURNAL REPORT on FOX with Betsy McCaughey...it was good, but so much in this bill not yet said.
I saw a clip on FR thread the other day of a black hole and people jumping into it...that fits this scenario perfectly. And Dems are like jumping in with their eyes open, it boggles the mind.
They won’t. Most people will do what is easy rather than what is right. This includes doctors.
Not enough Honduras backbone yet...but it’s coming.
They will not rise up. They we do what the people of mid-20th century Germany did:
blame the official government scapegoats.
It’s all going to happen again. Just wait and see.
There is no doubt in my mind that toddler killing will one day be made legal in the USA.
We DEMAND the same health care that Congress gets!
I want to see Queen Nancy and Prince Harry sign up FIRST (including their families) for this Marxist health care!!!
Until then this SHOULD BE DEAD ON ARRIVAL!
I guarantee you that Queen Nancy’s facelifts cost more than medical care for an entire family!
NO, because Congress and Zero have the ultra-gold healthcare plan, and it won’t be like the gov’t one...they are going to keep theirs and shove this on down americas throats. Believe me it will be like the shutting down of Chrysler or GM dealers..they will check the voting record first. So it better not pass.
