True! After suffering for years with quinsey I had mine removed in 1978 at 31 years of age. My daughter had hers out in 1985 for the same reason. Why so long? The doctors didn’t want to operate.
Wife had hers out around 1988.
Yep- had mine out at 18. Should have come out at 7. My 11 year old daughter seems to be headed on that path. If she gets sick, it goes straight to the tonsils, just like her mom!
But the lightworker with 143 days attendance in the Senate knows more than somebody who went to medical school and has years of practice under his/her belt. /sarcasm of course
Exactly... Its a shame he really doesn’t disclose that the only way his plan saves money is that the resultant increase in mortality rates cause the massive losss of the consumer decreasing costs in the long term.

Usually a pediatrician never does the surgery anyway...so how is it that a pediatrician would make money off this procedure? BeeO is so over his head it ain’t funny.......
That I can understand, but my wife's doctor wanted to go to the C-section after she had been in labor for only three hours. I told him to find another doctor. Nurse and resident doctor helped deliver vaginally two hours later.
AND I finally got to use the word vaginally properly
I am disgusted by this slander of doctors.
But Obama’s agenda is to alienate people from their physicians so that the government which is trustworthy/sarc can take over the decision making. Of course their agenda will be the fee schedule in reverse.

As a doctor, I can tell you that I and most of my colleagues don’t take them out unless it is unnecessary, heavily reimbursed, AND the kids are black, or perhaps wise little Latinas. That’s what being a doctor is all about.
You doctors likely need the tonils of wise latinas in order to process extra paperwork!

Perhaps in his research on top medical issues facing the U.S. today, Obama conferred with noted ENT specialist Barney Frank. Tonsillectomies must be a form of sexual mutilation to him.
This moment may be his Waterloo. Calling pediatricians greedy is a low blow, and tells you more about his lack of character than most other things. I would imagine most parents have a very close relationship with their young children’s doctor. These days politics is all about getting the message to hit home, and this one hits home in a big way.
I feel qualified to say this B/c I was in labor for 52 hours before csection (beat ya!) j/k.... but I do think there are too many csections... just talked to a girl the other Day that is 3 months away from birth and she is so excited cause doc is doing a csection and she’s not scared anymore.... I told her, girl, let the epidural not take and you’ll be begging for a vaginal birth... people are idiots... I begged not to have a section but keep my child from having brain damage, I conceded... 52 hours of labor was way better than getting cut open and then feeling everything! One thing about it, all those unnecessary sections stop with Obamacare...probably epidurals too!

I’m also a doctor, so I know you can appreciate that after all of the years of training, med school, residency (before the 80 hour work restrictions) that some two bit community organizer can have some special interest whisper a few phrases into his ears and he then gets up to the teleprompter and speaks as if has all medical knowledge and authority. He is the living, breathing definition of arrogance.
“Hey Obama, you stupid moron, the only procedure I know of that is totally unnecessary, has a fifty percent mortality rate AND is guaranteed to be covered in your healthcare plan without rationing is abortion.”
