Ghoulish, unethical, profit-seeking quacks would say that, though, wouldnt they? Lets see what they think once theyve got a community organizer with four years of federal policy experience riding herd on them. Theres a new sheriff in town, bloodsuckers!

No doctors except Jacko’s would want to put a child under anathesia for no reason. The potential for a huge lawsuit if something goes wrong is too great.
I emailed my ENT this morning to tell him he may want to take out my tonsils now before he can’t make any money doing it.
I know him very well as a family friend. :)
Zero has stepped outside of his ‘cult of personality’ and now actually believes he can say ANYTHING and not be held accountable. Ask me if I think there are too many Cesarean births when my Doctor let me labor for 36 hours before finally allowing the procedure. My son wouldn’t have survived much longer.
“Take two aspirin and go home” is what you’d hear under ObamaCare.
Am I remembering correctly that not too many years ago it was found that the constant irritation to the tonsils by allergens —causes an IgE feedback, over response— which makes the person present as always suffering from allergies and that removing the tonsils could stop that feedback cycle?
I had my tonsils and adenoid out when I was five. Never missed them.
My daughter, OTOH, had to have them removed when she turned 15. Why? Tonsil stones, inflammation, infection and other nasties because doctors DON’T remove them like they did during the 60’s and 70’s. It’s far more painful and you have a much longer recovery time as you age. She was on Percocet for two weeks!
The Obamination is an idiot and his “I play one on TV” is going to cost us dearly.
As someone who has worked in health care for more than 25 years, I am appalled on behalf of the dedicated people I work with.
When I heard his comments, something gave way inside me. I have tried to keep the emotional component at bay since November 2008, but I seethed listening to this.
What an arrogant, ignorant, steaming pantload he is.
My were removed when I was 6 years old. I never got to take them home in a jar, because they were that rotten. I was constantly sick when I was little and not so much after my tonsils were removed.
And what uninsured people are told when they go to the ER at the hospital where Michelle worked in Chicago.
I had mine out when I was 30. It REALLY hurts then. But I had peritonsilar abscesses on both sides, every time I got off antibiotics, I got deathly ill.
I wish I’d had them out when I was 5 (first time it was recommended).
I didn’t get to see mine either, and I barely remember it. My mum tells me I snored like a demon until they were removed.
My daughter wanted to see hers but the ENT said they were “nasty.” LOL!
"Okay," he responded. "Go back to sleep."
Your experience is what the ENT told us about. He’d seen a few patients in their 30’s who suffered a lot of pain after having their tonsils removed and seemed regretful that doctors had shifted away from the practice of taking them out during childhood.
My daughter’s tonsils were HUGE, painful, and she constantly had ear and sinus infections. She’s been so much better off without them. The ENT told us pre-op that none of his patients ever regretted having them removed.
Actually closer to 150 days in the Senate....
Obama reminds me of Kramer (Seinfeld) telling George not to have his tonsils taken out by the evil medical industry, and instead to the go to the wacko herbalist.
[Setting: Healer’s apartment]
TOR: (Pouring tea) Your tea is ready now. This will solve your so-called tonsil problem. It’s a special concoction. It contains crampbark.
JERRY: I love crampbark.
TOR: Cleavers.
JERRY: Cleaver, I once had cleaver as a kid. I was able to lift a car.
TOR: And some couchgrass.
JERRY: Couchgrass and crampbark? You know, I think that’s what killed Curly.
(Tor hands George the tea. George isn’t willing to drink it right away. Jerry looks skeptical, Kramer, on the other hand, is enthusiastic)
Our daughter had hers out when she was 6. Prior to that it was one infection (including strep) over and over. Besides, her speech was so gutteral, and garbled that almost no one could understand her.
The ENT (who is, otherwise, a saint) brought the tonsils around to show me, before sending them to pathology, and I swear, they looked as big as golf balls!
Since they were out, she has be unbelievably healthy, and is now 20. I waited too long, had my own out when I was 17. I thought I was going to die!
