He said he isnt concerned about political fallout from his decision, especially among conservatives in his home state of South Carolina.
Why should he be? He's Grahamnesty, his push on behalf of the illegals helped cost the GOP their majority, and what did South Carolina just do? They rewarded him with another six years in office.

I guess he has to do things like this every so often to stay on the guest list of the DC cocktail circuit.
The good people of SC should toss his sorry ass off the pier at Myrtle Beach.

and we wonder why the Dems control it all. With as^holes like Graham, we have no chance unless we vote them all out and start over.

I went to DeMints site and dropped this:
I’m a military retiree who graduated from the Citadel and was fortunate enough to find what I hope will be my retirement home in SC.
...
Prior to establishing my SC residence, I was aware that there was an SC senator (not you) that did not operate within the conservative spectrum of the republican party. During my research, I found that this senator was basically ‘pre-selected’ by the SCGOP. This prevented South Carolina residents who were concerned about his significant history of being McCain’s ‘mini-me’ and wanted to remove this tool from the national democrats’ bag of tricks.
Now this tool is supporting a ‘wise latina’ who’s history demonstrates she is not of appropriate ‘judicial temperament’ for a lifetime appointment to the ultimate arbiters of the application of the US Constitution.
The gop and scgop have completely alienated me by including folks who aid and abet the destruction of American with this kind of activity.
I don’t know what kind of influence you have, but if you could pass along that at least one constituent and his friends believe South Carolina would be better off without the SCGOP and that other senator, I would be very appreciative.
Also please consider me a resource in supporting the intent of the Founding Fathers as documented in the U.S. Constitution, and the election of statesmen (true representatives) versus politicians. Please let me know what I can do to these ends both for my state and my country.
P.S.
Thank you for your bold stance regarding the attempted destruction of the U.S. by the leftists and contributing to the marxists’ waterloo.

This prevented South Carolina residents who were concerned about his significant history of being McCains mini-me and wanted to remove this tool from the national democrats bag of tricks. Translation: You (South Carolina residents) sat on your asses when the time was ripe to find, fund and field a true conservative primary opponent, and now you're looking for someone else to blame.
Quit whining.

To: Rastus
Many in SC did not vote for this prick, the D running was IMO not a legitimate alternate....I think it was all the dipshitte Yankee refugees that got this prick re-erected, the same ones that gave us McCain in the prinary!

I believe you're operating under the assumption that I was an SC resident at the time and therefore had a say in the issue - if so, you're mistaken.
If that's not the case, please help me understand to whom your 'Quit Whining' comment is directed.
