Violent crime has plummeted in the Washington area and in major cities across the country, a trend criminologists describe as baffling and unexpected.
The District, New York and Los Angeles are on track for fewer killings this year than in any other year in at least four decades. Boston, San Francisco, Minneapolis and other cities are also seeing notable reductions in homicides.

There was a story in the LA Crimes about a month ago that the new computer model had omitted some crimes. The chief said they’re on it. The commander in charge of the system said he’s not a computer guy. Duh!

The Guardian Angels have enjoyed steady growth across America and around the world these past few years.
With the communists in control I don’t believe anything that is reported out of Washington. All these numbers are too easy to manipulate or outright falsify.
It just doesn’t pass the common sense test that with so many “desperately unemployed” out there, according to the demrat communists, crime would be down. How can Americans be so enamored of all the joys to brought to us by communism and at the same time be “desperately unemployed”?
The implicit message in these “reported” crime numbers is that Americans are so excited about becoming communists that crime is already down. Remember the old Soviet Union used to regularly crow about its low crime rates. But, then, the USSR lied about everything.
Big lies, likes houses of cards, will eventually collapse on themselves.
Amen brother and sisters....pass the biscuits. The Chosen One has cured us of all our ails.

Not anymore. Look at the smaller towns and cities, New Haven, Hartford, Manchester, Lawrence...all hellholes of crime. And the crime is spreading to the other towns and cities nationally.
I agree, the crime is heading out to the suburbs. We live in the East end of Louisville, where crime has been very low. Now we are all putting in alarm systems and making sure our cars are in the garage. Next, it will be arming ourselves. Of course, we are the only ones with stuff worth stealing.
Chicago has had more homicides so far this year—199—than the lives lost by our military in Iraq and Afghanistan....
What does that tell you about living in Chicago—home to the thug in the Oval Office.
