If we could get millions of Americans to march on Washington, what would we do?

Leave the Military out of it. Do not put them in that position.

How will we know those organizations aren’t penetrated by the FBI, state and city police organizations?

These organizations would most certainly be infiltrated by these organizations. And what they would find is people legally preparing in a very militant fashion - while hearing messages of solidarity with all our rank-and-file military and law enforcement.

However, they would also find an organization that could be activated at a moment's notice.

Recall the German "hunting clubs" that formed immediately prior to WWII.

Even better. We can set up waves of patriots to make sure the bad guys don't get back INTO town.

Hey, I think I'm seeing "officer material" here! :)

I have seen a lot of posts on here about entering Washington,DC armed. It is still illegal there you know.

Let me explain from personal experience something that all need to keep in mind.

There is a very good reason that Washington has never been made a state. I has nothing to do with politics. There is something called the Military District Of Washington. Not being a state that pesky little law that says the military cannot be deployed for domestic actions doesn't apply there.

I was at the Marine Barracks in Washington in the early 1960's. We and the other military units stationed in and around there were deployed several times to confront the general population.

I personally have stood in a wall of Marines with fixed bayonets pointed directly at the chests of people on the streets of Washington, DC. Our orders were that no one, absolutely no one would be allowed to cross our line. The orders were lawful and you better believe that no one did. In one instance a guy with a badge on his jacket walked directly up to the tip of the bayonet of the guy to my right, pulled his badge forward and said, "Press, Press". He got himself poked in the chest with a bayonet and had some size 12 Marine Corps dress shoes with cleats on them raked down one of his shins. He backed off rather quickly.

Also don't forget when Roosevelt sent the Army into a tent camp of WW 1 military veterans that were camped in Washington to protest the cutting of their benefits. In that case rifles and machine guns were fired at the veterans and quite a few were killed or wounded.

I just want y'all to think for a minute or two about what you are saying. The Messiah would not hesitate for one second to deploy the military to remove any threat to his kingdom.

No we’re not going to go armed. That’d be nutz.

“The interstate commerce clause shall be applied strictly to regulating interstate commerce as originally established and intended by our founders. No stretches or reinterpretations of any kind shall be allowed.”

I’ve thought for a considerable time on this one Jim. I believe we need to alter the wording, and thus the clause to ensure the power of the Fed is never abused again as it has been with the word, and act of “regulating”.

Interstate commerce is something that occurs between States, or several States, and if there are problems the States cannot handle for whatever reason, or find too difficult to handle then the Federal Government upon request by the States could mediate the dilemma.

Wording has to be extremely careful as the Left are incredibly astute at parsing.

I think we need to get Obama’s present policies out of the way 1st. Cap and Trade , Health Care . I wouldn’t go down there protesting abortion laws and such . We need to stay focused on the immediate legislation that will destroy us. I’m surprised Obama didn’t pass the Fairness Doctrine 1st so that we wouldn’t have any real access to the truth concerning his other bills. He screwed up there .

Sir, there is a reason that you are the founder and captain of this magnificent meeting place, and for what it’s worth, you have just shown that with flying colors.

Your post is without a doubt, the most uplifting and hope inspiring thing I have ever read on this site. Your proclamation and the proscriptions for addressing the wrongs inflicted on our beloved country will resonate strongly in the hearts and minds of every clear-thinking American who reads them.

I intend to help start that resonance by sending a copy of your post (with link) to every person in my address book.

I fully and unequivocally support everything you said in your post, and will do everything in my power to assist you in the endeavor to restore our constitutional republic.

Thank you.

Fill the galleries in the Senate and the House, well as in their committee rooms, and and long the outside perimeter, we will walk and chant and force the media to cover it all.

We need to be there whenever any Nationalisitic and Socialistic Bill hits the hopper, we need to be ready to confront the members of Congress by filling their chambers, by filling the Floor in session, by testing them to see how many actually read the whole Bill on which they plan to vote.

We need to ask them why have they turned their backs on their citizens and their employers? Why are they making goverment so intrusive in our lives. Why are We the People going to have this heath bill shoved down our throats, while our public servants get to refuse it without penalty, have Socialized health care at thee expense of others.

What about the Elderly having end-of-life counseling every five years and being denied life-saving treatment .For all of our working lives we've had to pay a Medicare tax where that money was to go into Medicare. Now, the government is going to steal all of your hard-earned money you’ve put intended for our care when we reach the billions into Medicare payments a Lifetime of a good chunk of their medicare/SS monies withoutforceed upon them, service are they saying NO to getting the Goverment’s DeathCare while getting to choose the best insurance policy that money can buy. The lawmakers in DC don't want the same rationed care as We the People are going to get.

We must be considered. We need to be wherever hearings on Universal Health Care, or Cap & Tax, or any number of other Draconian measures.

I sent a copy of Jim's letter to one of NC's Senators. Sen. Kay Hagen. I got this response back:

Dear Friend, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for contacting me to share your thoughts and opinions. Since taking office, I have received an overwhelming number of calls and emails from North Carolinians like you who are ready to take an active part in our government. I appreciate each and every call and email. With our country facing some of its toughest challenges in a generation, your phone calls and messages are an important factor guiding my work here in Washington. Please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as possible regarding your specific concern.

Wait till Monday rolls around and some staffer actually reads it.

We also need to do an ACORN and fill the halls inside with Freedom Activists and encircle their houses with Freedom Activists on the outside.

I want us to sandwich the state-run media with activists and make them broadcast your story, for as long as they can. find another Joe the Plumber type. A man of the masses, Mself made man thanks to free markets and capitalism

We need to expose all of the LEFT’s dirty tricks.

You can’t “fill the halls”. They won’t let you in. Remember the security that is there?

...an American party

That concept has been simmering in my mind for a number of years now.

I'm sick and tired of partisan politics. The political parties as we know them are nowhere to be found in our founding documents, but have grown into beasts that have usurped the citizen government crafted by the Founders to ensure our freedoms.

I have allegiance to my country, our Constitution, and our original form of representative, republican government, but not so much to any political party.

The major parties have done more to divide Americans than anything else, in my view, and that is destructive to the republic.

The American Party? I'm all for it.
