“The interstate commerce clause shall be applied strictly to regulating interstate commerce as originally established and intended by our founders. No stretches or reinterpretations of any kind shall be allowed.”

I’ve thought for a considerable time on this one Jim. I believe we need to alter the wording, and thus the clause to ensure the power of the Fed is never abused again as it has been with the word, and act of “regulating”.

Interstate commerce is something that occurs between States, or several States, and if there are problems the States cannot handle for whatever reason, or find too difficult to handle then the Federal Government upon request by the States could mediate the dilemma.

Wording has to be extremely careful as the Left are incredibly astute at parsing.

I think we need to get Obama’s present policies out of the way 1st. Cap and Trade , Health Care . I wouldn’t go down there protesting abortion laws and such . We need to stay focused on the immediate legislation that will destroy us. I’m surprised Obama didn’t pass the Fairness Doctrine 1st so that we wouldn’t have any real access to the truth concerning his other bills. He screwed up there .
