I've been registered here since 2007 after lurking for a while first. I can only remember one racist comment. The fool that posted it was slapped down HARD minutes later and the post was removed by the mods.
FR is the model for decorous discourse on the Internet.
IMHO we should welcome this publicity. Once honest, thinking people (a truly Endangered Species) see what's here they'll want to be part of it.

Are we not getting it? They are having to admit our existence. Notoriety means more people will be coming here to see what’s being said. It is an opportunity for us to apply their rules and get more exposure to the failures of the Administration.
