Well, he must not have been eating the product.
Did he finally eat his product?
What they put into hot dogs is not something you want to dwell on ... .
Thanks to these guys for some fond childhood memories of eating hot dogs roasted over a fire at the beach, collecting free Weiner Whistles, and watching the Weinermobile roll down my street. Sure, it’s all product marketing, but it was fun.
21-bun salute to Oscar G. Mayer
RIP
That’s sad news, and now I have that song running thru my head: ‘i wish I was an...’

“Sporting a halo of brown curly hair, four-year-old child actor Andy Lambros starred in the classic Oscar Mayer commercial entitled “Fisherman.”
The family fight for who inherits the weiener mobile will make the Jackson’s estate troubles pale by comparison!
nice pun!
That's an old misconception, and Mayer's hot dogs don't have fillers or recycled byproducts in them.
My baloney has a first name, it’s OSCAR, my baloney has a second name it’s MAYER, Oh I love to eat it everyday, and if you ask me why I’ll say, ‘cause Oscar Mayer has a way with BOLOGNA.
I hate baloney. I even stopped buying hotdogs years ago. Can’t touch the ever popular Wisconsin Brats, too fatty.
Then I saw the light last year, and tried Hebrew Nationals and they are heavenly. Made from good stuff. Not junk like most other brands.
In that part of the country, Usinger’s is THE brat. A bit further north, it’s Vollwerth’s.
In my part of WI, Johnsonville is a very popular brand of brat. My husband still buys them, but I can’t have them anymore. They do smell great on the grill.
I tried a local high quality meat market, who makes their own brats, and darned if those weren’t lean enough for me either. I liked brats as a kid and younger adult but the fat just grosses me out now.
Usingers has a low fat summer sausage that is really good. Very tasty!
Never heard of Vollwerths. I am in south central WI.
RIP.
You have to drive about 5 hours or so north of Madison. Vollwerth’s is in the U.P..
In all seriousness, they should use the Wienermobile as the hearse.
