Energy Bill Won't Solve Global Warming

United States lawmakers are considering a bill whose purpose is “to make energy more expensive, so people use less of it and to create a penalty for carbon-based fuels.”[1] Its intent is to reduce the emission of the greenhouse gases that are supposedly fueling global warming. If passed, the bill would set up a complicated system called “cap and trade” whereby fossil fuel distribution would be regulated by the government.
Critics believe the bill will give the U.S. government socialist-like authority over the American people, which could deal a severe and lasting blow to the U.S. economy. Does the science behind man-made carbon dioxide-caused climate change justify such sweeping legislation?...

The energy tax is not intended to accomplish anything, except take money from the masses. It is a giant tax for the dems, to pay for their socialist agenda.
Where I live in NorKal, this has been one of the coolest first-week-in-July on record. This after a very cool June.

And just one other very important point- after 10-20 years, when the planet climate model doesn’t change one iota, their excuse will be that ‘well, China and other nations didn;’t agree to cut emissions, but the climate woudl be much worse IF we hadn’t acted when we did” Just as Obama is now saying “The economy would be much worse IF we didn’t spend spend spend like we did” (despite hte FACT that less that 10% of the first ‘stimulus bill’ money has been spent- but Obama is ‘taking credit’ for ‘helping hte economy’ not be worse than it ‘could have been’ DESPITE unemployment being at an all time high AFTER Obama promissed ‘shovel ready job’ creation.
You simply can NOT win agaisnt htese twisted freaks! No matter how hte wind blows, the far left will take hte credit for makign it blow!

It won’t work, but when it’s obvious that it doesn’t work, liberals will call for a strengthening of the same laws that didn’t work, and that will fail too.
Another thing - water vapor is more of a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. Will they call for cap and trade on water vapor? How much will you pay for a shower? For boiling eggs? For exhaling water vapor? 20 cents a breath? Will they tax those cars that burn Hydrogen and produce nothing but water vapor?

Most Americans don’t know this. Obama is pleased.
Some of us are getting emails from stupid congressmen/women explaining how great this bill is going to be...blah blah blah. They must be copying talking points from the DNC as they are in complete disagreement with the truth. How do we get the truth out to their constituents then?
