Apparently Sarah Palin's decision to quit her post as Governor of Alaska wasn't as misguided as it sounded at first, because it has certainly already begun to work it's magic on winning over the Republican party. According to a new USA Today/Gallup Poll, her popularity has surged amongst Republicans since she made the announcement.
71 percent of Republicans said they would vote for Palin if she ran for president in 2012, and three-fourths believe that Palin has been treated unfairly by the media.
Two-thirds of Republicans want Palin to be "a major national political figure" in the future, while three-fourths of Democrats are hoping that she won't be. Independents by 55%-34% would prefer she leave the national stage.
Hope that you wake up soon. There will NEVER be a strong third party.
She didn't "give up" because "the press were mean to her." The biggest problem was the frivolous ethics complaints, mostly by the Celtic Diva blogger. Sarah's legal bills were more than $500,000. She was in office for what, two years? That's $250,000 per year--about twice as much as she was making as governor. Why should she be required to hang onto a job that was costing her money? Would you stay in a job that cost you twice as much a year as you made in salary? How is that responsible? It would be irresponsible to continue. So spare her the lofty sneers about "quitting" or "mean press." What was happening to her was far, far more serious, and I for one am glad she refused to sit in the barrel and take the shots.

WHAT??? She has more political savvy than all the rest of them put together and frankly, I have never heard her utter an “embarassing” statement ever. She has the wit and the moxy needed to succeed. She will educate herself on whatever she needs to. And frankly, she has 10X’s more administrative and political experience than Obuma does. He advised the political “cheat machine” Acorn for a living and that plus being a neophyte Senator is all he has ever done. Obama doesn’t know his Ass from a hole in the ground. The only going for him is a teleprompter, a cheat machine, and some wealthy evil organizations behind him pulling strings. He’s a Fraud through and through. I doubt he’s even an American citizen and he won’t even prove that he is constitutionally qualified to even be a President. Your statement floors me.!! She will prove you wrong too. CO
