Singers Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey are among a bevy of stars slated to appear at Michael Jackson's memorial service, organizers said Monday.

Soul legend Wonder and pop diva Carey were included on a provisional list of participants at Tuesday's ceremony which will also include stars such as John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson and Usher.

Other celebrities taking part at the Staples Center include Jackson's former girlfriend Brooke Shields, Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant and Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson.

Maybe I should have applied for the ticket...Even though less than 1% of people who applied got the tickets.

I am a fan of Mariah Carey...I don't own any Jackson CD...But, I do have her CD...

Maybe I should try to record the part when Carey performs.

Has there ever been a bigger non event?  The corpse won't even be there.  As I understand it, it's going on tour in about three weeks.  ;-)

Actually, all kidding aside, he's going to be planted two hours before the staples at the Spectacle Center.

The only questions that remain before the big ratings are realized, are how many millions in damage will there be for every year of Jackson's life, and how many people will die?
