Either "CNBC Reports" anchor Dennis Kneale has a flair for the dramatic or he upset a lot of people in the blogosphere with his biting critique of the blogosphere's negativity on the economy.
On the July 1 broadcast of "CNBC Reports," Kneale responded to harsh, angry criticism from bloggers - even pointing out blogs like the Huffington Post, with an openly left-of-center perspective.
"Last night on this show, I stirred up an angry hornet's nest in the blogs, you know, when I criticized their mean-spirited negativity, bashed them for hiding behind their cowardly cloak of anonymity," Kneale said. "And, I called them dickweeds, a form of pond scum. Well, they have howled with outrage throughout the blogosphere. Blog sites like Dealbreaker, Gawker, Huffington Post, the Business Insider, Zero Hedge and more have incited an online mob to rush to their defense."

Man up, Dennis ...
So, when I point out that Kneale is an idiot, am I being negative.
How about if I say he is positively the least intelligent gent I have seen in “news” in some time - which is a superlative differentiator in the quality of pond scum, of course...
It really doesn’t matter who says what. This is a recession caused by too much leveraged debt. It is not caused by perceptions.
Drama Queen.....
The customer is always right, and the customers aren’t going to CNBC.
‘veiled’ usually means they weren’t. correct?

Who’s Danny Kneal?

Poor Dennis has sand in his vagina again.

Who??
Picking fights with other media outlets is a standard old media tactic to generate buzz. CNBC’s profile is some large multiple of its value.
Election night eight or so months ago was the last time I’ve seen any network/cable news or talking head shows. My spirit and life in general have measurably improved.
It’s good news that someone is taking a swipe at blogs!!!
Denninger called him out. Did he mention Market-Ticker?
Thought not...
CNBC has been pumping stocks for years. Promoting a Pollyanna view on investing and the economy. Not so much for the last year or so but prior to that they were PUMPERS! CHEERLEADERS for WALL STREET

And all these people looking for green shoots obviously have never read a Balance Sheet. We got liabilities out the wazoo that swamp all the green shoots. It isn’t exactly rocket science to figure out we are soooo screwed.
Not a CNBC regular. I had to double check Google images to see whether this is the fairy looking guy. Yep, it is.
