CBS' Chip Reid and Helen Thomas double teamed Robert Gibbs today at the daily press briefing on the "tightly controlled" town hall meeting President Obama will hold on health care. Gibbs kept saying lets have this discussion AFTER the meeting. Helen Thomas accused the White House of "controlling the press." She said almost all White House/Obama events are "prepackaged." She accused the White House of not "having any answers."

I guess she just now figured out how Obama’s socialism is going to hit her in her own pocketbook; not to mention how health care according to Obama could put an end to her.

Note that Gibbs was NOT able to refute CBS’s questions that claim Obama’s “Town Hall” is going to be controlled!

Helen just wanted a “nanny state”, and she’s upset because it’s turning out to be a dictatorship. Who’d-a-thunk-it?
Zero has given her her instructions, and has no further need to acknowledge her existence.
Thomas expected the halfrican to act in the same gentlemanly manner toward her as Bush, but she is a poor judge of character as well as self important.
Thomas will show what happens to Presidents that don't stroke her, and it won't come out as she expects.
If she’s fed up, Zero has a problem. The press is getting restive.
Better watch your backs boys. Obama doesn’t tolerate dissent.
It’s not “Patriotic” anymore to question policies.
Next thing you know Helen will be asking to see his Birth Certificate. Bwaahahahaha
She’s just upset because she didn’t have an opportunity to hog the cameras.
I think it’s highly doubtful they’re fed up and more likely they’re angry at not being part of the in crowd.
Too bad she didn’t figure this out BEFORE she and others in the media helped him get elected. The evidence was there for all to see that things would happen exactly as there are happening now.
You’ll need a softer focus than THAT.
