SOL - I have gotten several reports concerning threats to Tea Party events and two regarding threats to individual organizers and in one instance their family. In each instance when provided information (regarding this or other issues) I endeavor to source and verify or will not post or email it to the group. I do now have one confirmed statement from a victim of such a threat and have discussed it with him. The individual making the threat has direct ties to opposition groups as discussed below and an attorney has been consulted by the individual targeted and other steps are being taken to secure the family threatened. This may be an isolated event, may not.
Many of us are involved in our local Tea Party groups and/or will be attending events over the weekend. I fully expect at some point groups such as ACORN or their spin-offs will try to disrupt or shut down Tea Party events, 9/12 Project, etc.. That may or may not be the case during the planned events this weekend.
One of the things that has occurred to me is the potential for a regional or national campaign by opposition, targeting Tea Party groups to intimidate organizers and supporters for the purpose of suppressing our rights. I ask that members of SOL and A&M report back to me if they notice any of the following:
1. Counter protests and disruptions at "patriot" events 2. Threats against organizers or individuals 3. "Patriot" web site hacking 4. Disruption of traffic or entry into events 5. Any other suspicious activities related to monitoring or disruptions associated with "patriot" events.
As noted above please provide verifiable source/photos or firsthand accounts if possible - send via email to sonsofliberty@alarmandmuster.com.
Always keep your heads, defer to authorities for assistance if threatened and it is possible to do so. It is better to take the high-road and walk away from conflict at this time. Report as requested above, intelligence gathered indicating this type of effort (or not) will serve us well in the future.
These monsters would rather rule in hell as barbarians sitting on top of a stinking heap of rubble and corpses than leave the rest of us alone to live in peace. I believe that enough patriots still remain to prevent this from happening. But it will come at a terrible cost.
Titus Livy, in his introduction to his monumental history of Rome remarked that his purpose in writing was "to trace the progress of our moral decline, to watch, first, the sinking of the foundations of morality as the old teaching was allowed to lapse, then the rapidly increasing disintegration, then the final collapse of the whole edifice, and the dark dawning of our modern day when we can neither endure our vices nor face the remedies needed to cure them."
Now we must face the remedies needed to cure ourselves of the Marxist totalitarian rot that has overtaken us. That we have allowed to overtake us. Livy's cure will not take place in the voting both nor will it come from the forums of public debate.
Those have been lost to us, as any observant individual well knows.
The honest answers to the following questions won’t be pleasant to contemplate.
When your opponents lack the price of admission to civilized debate: a respect for reason, belief in objective truth, and a willingness to admit they’re wrong when the facts prove it so - what then?
When your opponents' goals are to destroy the very foundation of your culture and your society - and to offer nothing in return but the howling nightmare of a society of cannibals and looters - what then?
When your opponents use the public education system to indoctrinate your children's' minds in the politics of victimization and the nobility of human servitude and sacrifice - what then?
When the institutions of higher learning are occupied by Marxist multiculturalists who despise the very philosophical foundation upon which the architecture of liberty and human dignity have been constructed and seek to destroy it - what then?
We know the answer - as historian Samuel P. Huntington said in his Clash of Civilizations, "History shows that no country so constituted can long endure as a coherent society."
And now we must pay the price for Livy’s cure in fire and blood.
BRING IT!
We must be ready. Take your video cams to the Tea Parties so that the ACORN Thugs, Black Panthers, Peace at all costs, or die hard Democrat Unionists come and try to stir up violence we can get their images to show the world we are not violent. The truth can set us free. But lets not play into their hands. We can not let them brand us as Racists, Republicans, or radical Christians. To win the day they must destroy this movement or marginalize it as they did Sarah Palin. Don’t let them turn this into a joke. Leave the funny costumes at home least they brand us as circus freaks. So to leave your Confederate flags, and virulent signs, at home. Nothing that our foes can use to tarnish our message of No New Taxes! No bending the Constitution!
I’ll be in a good vantage point, with a very good camera, just watching for problems.
I would suggest hanging large “Observer” badges around your neck as they do. Paid by lawyers to “watch”, the lefties know what these badges are and might think twice if they too are observed. And don’t forget the little pen and notepad, camera... ;)

In a sad and dark way, I find you uplifting.
Just tonight I found someone who can’t wait until 2010, when we can fix this at the voting booth.
I simply despair that this can be fixed any way other than violence, or great turmoil at the least.
As you attend the Tea Parties, remember this is our heritage. Socialists and thugs can’t take that away from us. Neither can they destroy our Constitution and steal our freedom. 2010 and 2012, vote out the Elitists that refuse to listen to the people and those that represent their own selfish interests and feed their hunger for power at the expense of this nation.

who signed the Declaration of Independence?
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors,
and tortured before they died.
Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned.
Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army;
another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or
hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes,and their sacred honor.
What kind of men were they?

Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton.

home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General

So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and silently thank these patriots. It’s not much to ask for the price they paid.

Patriotism is NOT a sin, and the Fourth of July has more to it than beer, picnics, and baseball games.
Our message has gone FAR beyond one of of just pleading with these Un-American assholes to not raise our taxes.
They are attacking many of our very FREEDOMS, for God's sake.
They MUST be stopped at all costs.

Well I find it intimidating when you call your elected official office to give your opinion to vote for or against an issue.
Instead they are more interested in who you are and where you live.
I would not give it a thought years ago, but now it is the way they ask the question in a tone we know who you are...
Never before have I felt threaten by my government!
But we must find our courage from the Lord and press forward in defending Truth and Sovereignty
The ACORN people are all paid employees. They wouldn’t show up for their mother’s funeral if they weren’t paid. The 4th is on a Saturday - they won’t be there...

Absolutely EXCELLENT! Exeactly what I was talking about. The left used to infiltrate us in Seattle. I believe they also had some affiliation contact. You might want to add in the ACLJ and a contact number. :)
They will be outnumbered at every tea party they try to interrupt, and if whoever is speaking to the crowd should notice them,he or she should point them out to the crowd and say, “There are the people who hate America. There are the people who want to rob you of your freedom. There are the people paid to intimidate real Americans. They don’t belong here among the people who love and respect the Constitution. I say to you: ‘If you don’t like listening to Americans exercizing their right to free speech, the Atlantic Ocean is this way, the Pacific Ocen is that way, and the Gulf of Mexico, is due South. Keep walking until you start treading water.’”
