Now, apart from Rush fans and people who doubt the veracity of the birthcertificate already, I doubt it even makes a ripple.

I mean, even the GOP last year refused to touch the issue.

Don’t get me wrong, my view is there are enough discrepancies in his record to consider his US citizenship doubtful, to say the least, considering the laws of the that time.

But as far as some dethroning of Obama occurring, this won’t be why.

Stop for a minute and consider that not even a sitting US President is immune from prosecution for committing a crime, if the facts are made public, and cannot be disproved.

So, Obama gets to resign, or be impeached for committing fraud against the American people NOW, instead of six months ago. Either way, he's out on his ear, which is a VERY GOOD THING for America.

I agree, if there was sufficient proof (which I don’t think there was at the time). However,if there is now sufficient proof of it, itis actually the perfect time. His popularity is beginning to wane (just look at Rasmussen), he is about to cram through both health care and cap and trade which will ruin our country perhaps forever. Showing a credible, well supported charge of this kind now would be grounds for impeachment and would likely get support from all of the GOP senators and probably a sufficient number of dems as well (even the hard-left ones like Durbin and Reid would be stuck between a rock and a hardplace). Should be no problem getting 3/4 of the states either.

If it plays out in this fashion, it would put a chill over anything Oba proposed or supported. It wouldn’t end the march to socialism but it would drastically slow it down some until 2010 for the GOP to take back congress.

Also, although he is no better in the short term, if Biden were made president as he would be in the case of Obama’s impeachment, it could easily be a solid win in 2012 for a GOP president because the American people can see Biden’s stupidity up close. Rightfully or wrongfully they will make comparisons to Bush despite the media’s attempt to support him and would want him out.

Although McCain was born of two American citizen parents, he was born in Colon, Panama, and did not meet the requirement of being born in the mainland US.
