The attempt by some on our side to envent an 0bamaesque mythology around Sarah Palin is going to come back to bite us in the butt.

Palin is not a savior, she is just a decent lady who would preserve our Republic.

I can’t believe how many folks here basically take the Democrat side when it comes to Palin. All that has taken place is of her own contrivance, and of course the left is absolved. Good fricken grief folks!

No wonder we keep getting our asses handed to us on every issue. The left craftily splits off the weak, and overpowers the rest.

Just damn...

By 2012 the Democrats will have all the Republican deputies out of the way (Ensign, Sanford, Gingrich, Romney if they can find an angle). Sheriff Palin will be standing alone on the edge of town. She’s going to need a lot of help from the rest of us to bring her safely to the Sheriff’s Office.

I loved this...it isn't about making her a Sheriff in reality, it is about recognizing that she has STOOD up to the media that has tried over and over to hurt her-both professionally and worse, personally.

She does exude a certain love of country that annoys liberals, and she is UNASHAMED of being a good person, who loves her family and does so with great zeal. That she was willing to bring Trig into the world, loving him and embracing him absolutely makes the folks who love abortions cringe. They hate her because she is EVERYTHING they are not and more.

I LOVE HER STYLE, AND HER DEDICATION TO PRINCIPLE A GREAT BIG BUNCH!

I would love to meet Lloyd Marcus, the author of this article, I know exactly what he meant. I saw republicans hiding when Sarah arrived on the scene, as well.

“...Sheriff Palin looks mighty fine in her jeans.”

Is it really necessary to re-emphasize this aspect of a serious public servant who embodies the hopes and aspirations of many conservatives?

And where are the pictures to prove it?

It’s sad that the elite wing of the Republican Party can’t rally behind a woman with real values that will do nothing but help the Party. I suppose she’s just too Conservative for them.

Recently, the libs sent an old washed up gunslinger, the Letterman Kid, to challenge Sheriff Palin to a shoot out. Palin planted two bullets between the pathetic old dude's wrinkly eyes before he could un-holster his gun.

Yep, the last person who stirred up the left like Sarah does today was Ronald Reagan.

I posted this on another thread, thought it might fit here as well.

This is a trait (fighting back) people are going to see more of as time goes on (recall Letterman). She was raised in Alaska and women up there are used to pitching in to get things done. It's almost like the lines between what a man does and what a woman does are blurred by necessity. It's a harsh place to live and 'girls' will carry their weight.

There may be a great lesson here that other women may want to emulate, and Sarah would make a great teacher (by example).

For example: Miss California did a fair job handling that little homo who attacked her over 'gay' marriage. Imagine how that would have gone with some coaching from Sarah? She would have helped put this creep back under the rock from which he came.

There may be other examples I can't think of right now, but Mrs. Palin would be a great role-model for young women everywhere. This is one lady who's not about to be steamrolled by anybody and I wish more women could be more like her. The benefits to society would be enormous.

I think I can speak for other guys who find confidence, ability, and rock-solid values attractive in a woman. Because, when you're not around you know they'll be able to 'hold down the fort'. From what I've seen, Sarah has what it takes to protect 'Fortress America' 'till we get back (to our senses as a society where we've been on a binge- imho).
