Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) criticized President Barack Obama Wednesday for failing to take a strong leadership role in voicing opposition to the election results in Iran.
I do not believe that the president is taking the leadership that is incumbent upon an American president, which we have throughout modern history, and that is to advocate for human rights and freedom, and free elections are one of those fundamentals, McCain said during an interview on CNN.
McCain said the president obviously doesnt agree that Iranians have the right to protest the election results as a fundamental principle.
We are seeking, as we have throughout the world, a free and fair election. This is obviously one that is corrupted, the Republican senator said.

As if McCain should talk. Palin basically dragged him kicking and screaming to a less humiliating defeat than we could have ever imagined.

McCain blasting Obama on this is a good thing, no?
To: rabscuttle385
McCain was also void of leadership and ran a half-vast campaign.

[well, what did you expect, you dumb RINO?] Wow. What deep commentary.

If we want more sh*t out of you John we will just squeeze your head.
You gave the election to 0 and showed no leadership. Looked like you were holding out for a cabinet position after the election. How’d that work out? Now you want to show a little intestinal fortitude, leadership?
Move over and let someone else take over your throne. We need another republican in the senate, not another Specter with zero leadership ability.

Yeah, like McCain would know “leadership” if it walked up to him and poured a gallon of Miracle Hair-Gro on his head.

McCain, you idjit. You are the one that said he was qualified and that character questions were off the table. Hey, he was like a ninja or Dirty Harry when he killed that fly, though. *spit*

McCain blasting Obama on this is a good thing, no? Yes. It is a good thing - if you're a reasonable, mature person.

I just listened Hannity interview Lindsey Graham. All soft ball, no mention of amnesty. They talked about healthcare, the economy, Iran...didn’t ask if Graham would ok healthcare for illegal aliens.
Hannity is part of the problem. Some dumb republican tunes in, hears this rino interviewed and thinks, sounds pretty good and votes for him again. When is Hannity going to corner these guys like they deserve? I understand he needs to get them on his show...blah, blah, ....but it’s past time to play that game.
