TOLEDO, Ohio Residents of Toledo, Ohio, are complaining that they received $25 tickets for parking their vehicles in their own driveways.
Mayor Carty Finkbeiner (FINK'-by-ner) says he stands by the citations handed out last week by the Division of Streets, Bridges and Harbor. He says the tickets were issued under a city law against parking on unpaved surfaces, including gravel driveways.

Yep. You beat me to it.
‘’’Burn it down and start over. ‘’’
That’s how I’m beginning to feel.

Not all of us voted for it. I'll *itch as much as I like even though I don't smoke!
I can't stand the left and their desire to control people. This gravel driveway parking ticket thing is just one example of power run amuck.
Next we will all start getting tickets if we don't wear our approved civilian issue uniforms.

Well ya know gister, if I had not spent hours and hours debating the law and order wing of the conservative movement about the joys of a police state... Well I wouldn’t post stuff like that would I?
When did you “(spend) hours, and hours...about the joys of a police state?”
Can you give any names?
And please, I’m being serious, not snarky.
It's called "The People's Republic of Ohio".
I made sure the last time I drove through or in it was 1979. I had a brand-new Autotronics Snooper radar detector, and I wanted to see if it worked. After 20 miles in Ohio, I turned it off -- it hardly ever quit alarming, and that was one of the old passive-antenna kind. Every third overpass had a police car behind it. Every big rock, chicken coop, and tree had its own dedicated minion of the Law hiding behind it.
What a flatheaded state. No wonder industry moved away.
What's the fine for voting for Republicans up to now?
And demanding a ballot in English? Is that a "hate crime" yet?
Just read through my forum posts. Big divide between law and order republicans and Jeffersonian republicans.
A friend of mine got busted for DUI while walking in his driveway, engine not running, keys in his pocket on his way to open his door.
A DUI for walking in his driveway!
That goes for the money grubbing Toledo pigs as well.
No doubt the regular badge lickers on here will defend them though.
