"Any 'jokes' about raping my 14-year-old are despicable. Alaskans know it and I believe the rest of the world knows it, too."
- Todd Palin
"Concerning Letterman's comments about my young daughter (and I doubt he'd ever dare make such comments about anyone else's daughter): 'Laughter incited by sexually-perverted comments made by a 62-year old male celebrity aimed at a 14-year-old girl are not only disgusting, but they remind us Hollywood has a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands - that acceptance of inappropriate sexual comments about an underage girl, who could be anyone's daughter, contributes to the atrociously high rate of sexual exploitation of minors by older men who use and abuse others.'"
- Governor Sarah Palin
I challenge every Republican not to ever go on this perverts show.......
This shows the depravity and the almost complete collapse of morals we are facing in this country.
I DARE Letterman - come you - it will be funny, right? Say the SAME about Obama’s daughters....
Hollywood, New York, what’s the difference? Hollywood transcends geography. It’s a pathological condition.
Thanks!
Everyone write!
I always thought Letterman had the look of a pervert, now this just proves it. Not just a pervert but apparently a pedophile too. CBS must be proud.
Done!
I have just called CBS and told them what I thought and demanding an apology to the Palin family. I’ve also sent them an e-mail.
I’ve also contacted Best Western, Ancestry.com and On the Border restaurants (since I have used these companies in the past) regarding their sponsorship of Letterman’s show.
Sarah Palin and her family should see conservatives come to their defense.
Most people will never hear any of this because nobody watches Letterman.
Do you have the contact info. for these companies ?
I beleive contacting the sponsers of the show is much more effective than sending emails to CBS/Late Night.
I just emailed a letter of complaint! I have never liked Letterman he is so over rated. My husband likes him but when he heard the comment he said that was just plain evil!
How does that great Eagles song go?
“Already Gone”.
Good job Moderators
The only way for A-Rod to knock up a 14 year old is by rape. Their response was more than appropriate.
Not that long ago in this great country, those words would have been grounds for a major takedown. Todd would have justifiably been able to DECK (or worse) the loser who accused his wife and insulted his daughter. I’ll tell you the truth—I’ve never heard a conservative ridicule a special-needs child or make a dirty joke like this about a young teenaged girl. But comments like these are the first joke out of the libs’ mouths. Shows their vacuous lives and evil hearts.
Forget screaming at CBS, they could care less.
Go to Letterman’s advertisers and tell them you will not purchase their products from a company who approves of a man who finds the rape of a 14yr old to be funny.
Id like to see that Lump of Lard Letterman make those comments to Todds face.
I was just thinking the same thing...or those comments to many millions of people who would spit in Letterman’s pug ugly face.
That’s perfect!
I’m glad to hear the Palins sticking up for their children like this, and all kids, really.
Great idea! I did it.
Any contact information for the New York Yankees? If their management had ANY cajones; they would BAN all CBS sports reporters from any contact with the team for a suitable period of time. As for Alex? Letterman is joking about one of your star players RAPING a 14-year-old girl...man up, dude...and do it soon.
Perhaps we should also contact the New York Yankees and ask for a statement. Mr Rodriguez is a role model for lots of kids: http://arod.mlb.com/players/rodriguez_alex/about.jsp?category=community
