Dave Letterman, cutting edge and hysterically funny—in the 1980s! Part of the reason I was such a huge fan back then was that he deliberately avoided politics and current events. He just stuck to the off the wall comedy.
Good for the Palins trashing him over his lewd comments. They should also call on 0bama to condemn this lack of civil discourse. When he fails to do so, Sarah can use this is another tool in her campaign against him.

Hello, Liberals are pro-rape. Bubba Clinton was. Planned Parenthood is. Sandra Berhard make a rape joke about her “black men” raping Sarah Palin. And now David Letterman making rape jokes about her daughter.
Wonder if there could be a lawsuit for this like character defamation or just crime on a child. Hell, fight fire with fire. THey are always bringing up lawsuits against her.
“Probably”...They do find it hilarious. They think Charlie is a “GOD”, get tingles when he’s around and ask him at press conferences about what he finds “enchanting”.
And that bastion of integrity, the NYT, had a transcript of Letterman’s show.
They must also have realized it was in terrible taste, because guess which line they left out...
It’s comedy and satire whenever a member of the left ‘jokes’ about a conservative.
It’s cruel and mean when a member of the right ‘jokes’ about a liberal.

I think Todd should fly to NYC, and punch Mr. Letterman right in the nose - hard.
Just sent CBS a message requesting that they “fire” David Letterman. Won’t happen, but maybe everyone ought to send the same message?
Letterman is also an admitted former alcoholic (back in the 1970s). Remember this too if/when he makes addiction jokes about Bush, Rush, et al.
In the 1980s, he was funny. But he took a nasty turn in 1990s and has only devolved into a pure slimebag since then. He apparently made another terminally unfunny comment last night. What a schmuck.
So Letterman’s a pedophile. Not surprised. I’d boycott him if I previously had watched him.
I am awaiting this answer as well. What did he say exactly?
