These trustafarian, skinny-jean wearing bohos have infested my neighborhood, as well as many others in our cities. These morons never seem to work, yet can afford to pay $1,800 in rent.

Brian Smalley was laid off by ObamaStickers.com in late April. He didn't panic. He didn't rush off to a therapist. Instead, the 33-year-old Santa Monica resident discovered that being jobless "kind of settled nicely, once you get used to the heating grate." Man, he is still funny!

Ordinarily, this would be hilarious, but these days it hits very close to home.

A familiar face among the funemployed:
Ive given up my car and Im spending almost all of my time outdoors, surrounded by the beauty and insects of nature. And when I havent eaten in 4 or 5 days, I can look up into the sun and see angels. Its very spiritual.

For many younger people, Dwight said, work is less central to their lives. According to her surveys, more and more young people are saying they are willing to trade off a high pay, high pressure job for one with flexible schedules and a lot of vacation time. "The new Admistration has been very responsive to that -- just look at all the millions of new jobs with zero salaries and 52 week vacations," said Dwight, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Colorado. LOL

So true.

I can’t tell if this guy is being funny or serious. Unfortunately, I have a roommate like this. Cheerfully unemployed since February, she spends her time in her room reading romance novels while I’m working 2 jobs.

I think Bill Ayers/Alinksy/Soros/Marx have won.
Where is the Protestant Work Ethic that founded this nation?
Years of near death, near starvation and near collapse with wars, disease and civil unrest and people now screw around doing yoga while dumpster diving?
I guess too much excess really makes people lazy and uninformed...the Obama voting bloc.

It’s not funny.
Or I’ve lost my sense of humor about being unemployed.

So this is what passes for America these days? This is sick...! Wow, where would be if it were not for all those great trade agreements we have entered into over the past 25 years.

I keep reading these articles. This idea is ridiculous. Unless you have a trust fund, you either work or you don’t eat and live under a bridge.
