Obama definitely is religious, it’s just a question of what God he has been worshiping, and IMHO, it isn’t the God of Abraham, Issac and Moses.
IMHO, there is very powerful spiritual warfare surrounding him, for some of his followers to praise him as Messiah or blurt out how much they love him, without being immediately squelched.

The history of the jewish people in the US shows a level of blind devotion to marxism with little or no understanding of the destructive corrosive nature of their idealism.
There is also a level of elitism that the so called ‘underdog’ cannot survive without their ‘help’.
Just because his followers may be quasi-religious vis-a-vis Obama it doesn’t follow that Obama himself is religious. Obama has world class case of narcissism and believes the press he has received. He only worships at the altars of socialism and facism. One could rightly call Obama a drug pusher as one of heroes Karl Marx opined that religion is the opiate of the masses.

The Olivet Discourse was set between two significant events by Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
Prior to the Olivet Discourse, recorded in three Gospels, Christ Jesus spoke His final words of public ministry, found in Matt 23:1-39. They also denounced the leadership of Israel and their guilt associated with leading the nation to reject their Messiah.
After the Olivet Discourse came the Lord’s Supper with the Upper Room Discourse transitioning our Lord’s ministry from Prophet to Priest.
The Olivet Discourse, positioned between these two events, basically answers the question: When and how would the Messianic Kingdom come into being? Since Israel rejected the Kingdom offer of the Messiah, it was impossible to set up the Kingdom at that time, and it would have to be set up later. However, in light of His denunciation of the leadership of Israel in Matt 23, and in light of his closing words in Matt 23:37-39 revealing the fact that He will not return until Israel requests His return, what will be the circumstances that will cause this to happen? When, then will the Kingdom be set up? The Olivet Discourse answers this question.
Now reconsidering the original question: What is this all about?
A strategic satanic position will seek to destroy the Jews and Israel, so that the precondition of the Messianic Kingdom is never accomplished, thereby affording the counterfeit cosmic worldly system to continue under the domain of the Adversary.
This is also why so many disparate worldly groups condone, support, and contrive efforts to promote their demise.
In regards to the Jews turning on their own, remember they will continue to have a veil over their minds as to the identity of the Savior until the end times. They become victim to a litany of arrogance complexes in their thinking, independent of faith alone in Christ alone, and then are very susceptible to spiritual warfare and satanic deception and demonic influence, and for unbelievers, demonic possession.
When we witness people fawning over Obama and calling him Messiah, placing Obama before Jesus Christ, and Obama declaring America to be a Muslim nation, we know there is satanic deception, influence, and possibly demonic possession involved.
The solution, as always, is to remain in faith alone in Christ alone, ever vigilant in resisting temptation to stray from Him.
So..... obama is OK with Muslims setting up huts in America, but not OK with Jews setting up huts in Muslim territory?
Michael Medved has explained it as this. Jews are more fearful of conservative Christians than they are of practically anything else. They see conservative Christians as the face of the Republican Party and want to have nothing to do with it on that basis. This, even though conservative Christians are highly supportive of Israel.
There are other reasons as well, but I think this is the primary one.

The Jewish people I work with are all Obama-mites and do not have any faith in God. They are bloodline Jews. So you can imagine that they don't appreciate Christians worshiping a God of History based on their race/bloodlines.

Obama's design is clearly revealed by his books, his speeches, and his associations.
