The man accused of killing former radio talk-show host Mike Webb two years ago pleaded guilty this morning to second-degree murder.
King County prosecutors plan to seek a sentence of more than 12 years in prison for Scott White, who had originally been charged with first-degree murder.
White, 29, had been living with Webb in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood for six months when he killed Webb with an ax and hid his body in the crawl space, authorities said. Webb's body was found on June 28, 2007.
Webb, who had once been the host of a host of a late-night talk show on KIRO radio, hadn't been seen since April 2007. He was reported missing in May — a tip led police to his body.
White allegedly text-messaged Webb's friends and family, posing as Webb, saying that he was out of town. They say he pawned some of Webb's personal items and used his debit card.

My father was a homicide photographer in Germany in the 1950's, and he told me that the murder scenes involving homosexuals were typically the most bloody and horrific, by far.
