SPRING HILL, Tenn. -- Police departments throughout middle Tennessee said they are faced with delays in ammunition shipments. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, along with gun owners who are stocking up on supplies, are causing the deficiency, said ammo producers.

Barney Fife never had this problem.

Obama, Barney Fwarnk, Nancy Pelosi, Harry S. Reid, Teddy-— — -— Kennedy, and the Democrats agenda to disarm US citizens is the main reason.

They’re cartridges. Bullets are useless without powder, brass, and primers. LOL. Reminds me of when people refer to magazines as clips.

"Police Face Bullet Shortage" Well, they'll just have to do without them. There are more pressing concerns, such as the need for free cars for the 'disfranchised' (welfare loafers).

That annoys me, too, especially when it comes from people who should know better.

There are more pressing concerns, such as the need for free cars for the 'disfranchised' (welfare loafers). How about free cars for every cop?
My crazy cop neighbor has a Dodge Magnum that he has been assigned for quite a while now. He just brought his daughter home from college using the cop car for three trips to get her stuff home.
Most of the cops up near DC have been given a car to use for free using the 9-11 attacks as the excuse for them to have a car at home to get to work faster if needed.
Nice gig if you can get it.

Must be re-loaders. I’ve known a few that were free loaders.

True, but not entirely. I figure bullets will be useful as barter items in the near future. They, along with powder, primers and brass are becoming nearly impossible to obtain on a reliable basis. I've heard they are cranking them out at 120% capacity and it will be months before the shortage has any hopes of letting up. The military use is not the reason for the shortage at all though. It's Obama, pure, plain and simple.

Funny, we've been at war in Iraq and Afghanistan for several years, but there never was an ammo shortage until Obama got elected. Not to mention that with Iraq mostly under control, the demand for ammo over there should have, and more than likely did, go down.

Maybe this woman can help them out:

Oh, wait....
Um, nevermind.
