Democrats wait for tragedy to enact weapon legislation

America’s 1st Freedom June 2009 Magazine has called the Democrats onto the carpet.

And it isn’t pretty.

Marshall Lewin in an article titled:”Showing their True Colors”, lays it all on the line. In his article he describes a ruthless calculation, Democrat leaders in the White House and in Congress are waiting for people to die. That’s right. They are waiting until there is some national level tragedy, the loss of life involving firearms, to introduce and then pass legislation banning guns.

“If you’re still on American soil, leave, we don’t like traitors. And don’t let the door hit you....If you’re not, why are you on a conservative, pro-America forum like FR? Why don’t you go back to DU where you belong?”

WTF? Are you talking to ME?

There is the roll over and cower attitude. Somebody said something not nice.

"Americans do nothing."

"Americans do nothing."

"Americans do nothing."

and on, and on, and on...

Do you think I’m a F***IN’ idiot?

If that's what you think about Americans, in a word, yes.

You are NOT the only one who cares about this country nor are you the only one who does anything.

You don't know what the rest of us do and have no right to paint the whole rest of the country with your bigoted broad brush.

FReepers in particular.

“Christ! The time to fight is NOW and absolutely NOTHING is happening.”

We have to let the system try first. The revolution did not happen over night. The civil war did not happen overnight. Lets wait till 2010 and then 2012 before the bullets start flying. Everything you are saying is a basic slap in the face of the way the founders built this country. They put the elections in place to prevent from happening what you are saying. Obama is gaining a large amount of buyer’s remorse on himself. Dodd’s numbers are down as are Reid’s. We can’t just start flinging lead, but if that time comes, then action must be taken. Before you start saying I didn’t read your post, I did. But thats why we have in place the system we do. If it doesn’t work, vote it out.

They gonna carpet bomb half the country?

No.

They won't need to.

They'll turn off the lights.

Shut off the gas.

Stop the trucks and trains.

And wait.

In winter, in the cities, I give it 48 hours max, before most of the sheep start trickling out, less in the riot zones.

Now, I'm not saying that to demoralize people, but anyone who has fantasies of resistance better wrap their head around the fact that unless there are very large numbers who will stand together, resisting could be a very tough and lonely gig.

If your numbers are that large, spread out, so the bomblets are less effective.

I have little doubt the marxists have infiltrated most groups, if for nothing else than information, and even less they will find ways to squeeze others for what they want.

They have studied the Axis powers, the Stasi, the KGB, the Checka, and every other 'agency' in the past and doubtless added tricks of their own.

They will recall the methodology of the Soviets with the Ukranians, the Turks with the Armenians, Burma, Nanking, Dachau, the Kiling Fields, and every other genocide in history and have the methods adapted already.

Slaves to the right, dead to the left.

They have a limitless budget, and the best technology, ever.

They cannot defeat a determined people, nor overwhelming numbers, but the question is:

"Are you willing, if it comes to it, to pledge YOUR Life, Fortune, and Sacred Honor to the same ends the signers of the Declaration of Independance did?"

Each must look at his/her spouse, family, give the kids a squeeze, look around your home, and decide whether you will risk all for posterity or just try to keep what you have, hoping the crisis will go away.

Are we at that point?

No. Not quite. But we get closer every day and may well get there yet.

Save yourself what may be some time at a critical moment. Think about it now.

Depending on your choices you may want to use the time left to prepare as best you can for whatever may come.

‘We can’t just start flinging lead...’

Most of those who are blasting me need to read my posts closer.

It would seem you glance over it, rearrange what I’ve said or take it out of context.

READ MY POSTS BEFORE YOU “FLAP YOUR LIPS”!

I NEVER incited violence, in fact I stated REPEATEDLY that the resistance should be non-violent.

I’ll say to you what I’ve said to the sheepish multitudes who are content with ‘waiting’ for the ‘system’ to work:

Their aim is to pervert and corrupt the ‘system’ to the point of uselessness to you, the average American.

The Founders were not supermen. In fact, THEIR DEAD! Reagan is DEAD! WE FIGHT, OR NO ONE FIGHTS!

Who in their right mind can state that the system is getting stronger OR EVEN MAINTAINING over the last 80 years?

The last ten years have been a net loss for freedom and the last four months have been a TOTAL F***IN SHUTOUT!

Hell, we didn’t if show up on the field let alone put up a fight.

Each generation of Americans is charged with the defense our way of life.

Everything else is a just documents, or dead men! WE keep it alive or let it rot and fade away.

The threats against it are ever-present and fighting a fierce battle against it.

We can’t stand behind “the Constitution” it’s a piece of paper with written ideas.

The PARADIGM CAN SHIFT away from one supporting it.

Those on the left, at least many of them, are already prepared to alter it. To many of them it’s an incomplete document full of fallacy and injustice written by power mongering, racist white men.

Were Democrats 30-40 years ago ready and willing to do this? Some were, to be sure, but the number of new and willing “framers” is growing.

Waiting emboldens these people and invites further agression against our system of self-rule.

I can’t believe I’m having to defend this position on Free Republic!

I meant to round this out a bit more: We can’t stand behind “the Constitution” it’s a piece of paper with written ideas. It won't fight the fight for us. It just an idea that we all agree is worth keepin' 'round. If enough of us decide it's not worth it, or that there is something "better", then poof!, it's history. Our President said: "...the Constitution doesn't say what the federal government can do on your behalf." It's anything goes time, baby!

“READ MY POSTS BEFORE YOU “FLAP YOUR LIPS”!”

As I’ve stated, I’ve read your posts. You come across as scared and defeatist at points and at others talk about fighting back. You seem to have not figured out history. This is not a 100 Day fight. There are people in this country that are opening their eyes. Thats what elections are for.

“Their aim is to pervert and corrupt the ‘system’ to the point of uselessness to you, the average American.”

It has not reached that point yet, there are still opportunities(elections) to put people in that will preserve our way of life. If he tries to become dictator for life, that will be another issue that, as of this point, does not need to be addressed.

Those are the only two points I will address. So I pose a question to you. An election just occurred, more elections are set to occurr. People can change their mind as is being seen. Rather than vagueness, give me some points as to what we should be doing.

How many Federal Officers would turn in their badges rather than get shot doing something illegal and, honestly, stupid? And who would keep the armed forces, who are sworn to uphold the Constitution, from engaging the traitors, who just voted so blatantly against it, in [violent] military action?

If a law was passed today there would be only a few people hold out or react with violence toward the enforcers of this unconstitutional law. Hardly any Federal officer, State officer, or local officers would turn in badges, the vast majority would willingly, if not happily, enforce this law using as much violence as necessary. If those officers can't muster enough violence they would then summon military assistance and then they would overcome those hold outs with force.

This has been repeated over and over again through history, we will fare no better. There will be thousands of patriots who would refuse to follow this law, but they would be separated by thousands of miles with millions of opponents between them. No, it won't go well.

I plan on taking a mountain of the bastards with me when they try to take my guns, but I know the vast majority in this country does not have the will to follow. No the sheeple will be sheeple.

No, the nice poster is calling me a traitor.

If the shoe fits.....

There are two options.

One, you are not a citizen of this country since you say that America is not your country. In which case the label traitor would be inaccurate but the ranting would not be easily explained.

The other is that you are a citizen who has turned his back on this country and his fellow citizens. So with comments by yourself such as...

America is/was the greatest country in human history—but it isn’t MY country.

I’m one man with zero power. If the ignorant masses lose their gun rights to vote for a “cool black man” then as far as I’m concerned they deserve to.

Why would I risk a toenail for a bunch of fools?

I’d risk my life in a heartbeat for freedom.

For socialism/communism/slavery, nothing. Best of luck to everyone else—I’m lookin’ out for mine at that point. That’s all I’ll have time for.

Then as far as the descriptive term of traitor, if you don't want to look like one, don't talk like one.
