No, the rich and the government team up to make the people slaves, which is what we have now. Why do you think the classic party of the rich, the investors class, the Republicans don’t fight?

You think people who are worth 10, 100, a billion dollars are going to take on Uncle Sugar and lose it all ....FOR YOU?

Come on. Get real.

All the rich want is a heads up so that they can dump their assets being destroyed in value, before the public knows it, and buy the new assets before the government drives like cattle customers to it. Like GE with its support of Cap and Trade. GE wants to be first, then after making the investment, push Cap and Trade on its TV stations and support politicians to make its investment come true.

Question: Who are ‘the rich’ you’re talking about?

That would be Michael Eisner, big Clinton contributor, former head of Disney, and who executed 200 million of options in the last week of 92 to take a huge capital gain that year instead of in 93 when the rate went up retroactively to Jan 93 passed by the democrats and Clinton.

People are already beginning to do it for themselves. It's called T.E.A. July 4th.

"...classic party of the rich, the investors class, the Republicans..."

George Soros
Bill Gates
NJ Governor Jon Corizine
NYC Mayor Bloomberg (any party for election)
Robert Rubin
Sen. Jay Rockefeller
Sen. Ted Kennedy
Sen. Diane Feinstein
Rep. Nancy Pelosi
Sen. Harmon
Sen. Kohl

8 of the 10 richest US Senators are democrats

Consider the huge amount Obama raised -

If you think Wall Street and corporations like General Electric are headed and dominated by Republicans - I invite you to now provide all of us dumb FReepers evidence of your incredible political brilliance.....

- I have made mistakes and errors in judgement in my posts on Free Republic - But I don't tend to hold hands with McKinnon and Powell - I also correct any mistake I might have made
