From the man who brought you John McCain. And before you ask, yes, he was indeed one of the Republican insiders who contributed to that National Journal poll declaring her future dead in the water.
The Republican strategist who helped Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman prepare for a possible presidential run says the Republican party is in for a devastating defeat if its guiding lights are Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Dick Cheney. If its 2012 and our party is defined by Palin and Limbaugh and Cheney, then were headed for a blowout, says strategist John Weaver, who advised Huntsman and was for years a close adviser to Sen. John McCain. Thats just the truth.

Once people figure out who Huntsman is; next they can begin to question why the MSM is pushing him as some sort of serious contender.

Palin, Limbaugh and Cheney are great conservatives(which the GOP stupidly seems to reject). That guy needs to spend time with real people in fly over country. He has it all bass ackwards.

Very true. She has already let the press define her as a stupid redneck, and she can’t take that back. We need someone fresh.

Oh, wait a minute. He didn't mean that in a good way.
But, he also backed McVain. Can't be too sharp of a GOP strategist if he backed THAT horse!

Palin as nominee couldn’t do much worse than McCain in 2008.
He lost by a 2 to 1 margin of electoral votes. That was a loud message that the GOP still doesn’t get. Just like 2006 was.

I didn't know anything about this Utah gov. until I heard he's going to China. His adviser just screwed him if he was thinking of running 2012.

Huntsman is still talking? Why? Obama already paid him off for helping throw the election. The remainder of McCain's staff has already proven what back-stabbing Quislings they are, so who but Helen Thomas would even listen to those squeaking sacks of hog dung? Eh.

The press had defined Reagan as a stupid actor in the late 70’s.
Those images can be overcome if there is a unified message sincerely marketed behind a candidate.
And do you really think that anyone “fresh” will not be similarly targeted and destroyed by the MSM and pop culture? Each and every conservative will be.
Palin connects with people, with the tea-partiers. THAT connection is what they fear, because that is ALL they have with Obama. They have no substance, no debate ability, no experience, no evidence of success. All they have is the connection of oratory.
If we get a conservative with substance and experience who can CONNECT, THEY are the ones who are doomed.

Bad enough that she joined forces AGAIN with McCain and his group of New Republican RHINO’s, Sarah Palin says she supports a “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens. Unless or until she rejects that position, she will NOT be getting my vote.
