Also, fewer think abortion should be legal under any circumstances
PRINCETON, NJ -- A new Gallup Poll, conducted May 7-10, finds 51% of Americans calling themselves "pro-life" on the issue of abortion and 42% "pro-choice." This is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.

They don't need to refute it. They run pro death candidates and they get elected. Why bother reuting it?
Don’t forget Glenn Beck!
Had to happen. Once you can see a 3D image of your baby from the earliest months, it is pretty hard to call it a tissue mass.
Good for your son! He sounds like an intelligent and courageous young man!
When I was in high school (back in the mid 80’s) our current events class had to watch some films about abortion, some pro-life and some pro-death. I had never really though much about abortion before watching them. There were two films, one being “The Silent Scream”, that completely formed my opinion for me that abortion was the murder of an innocent child. I was haunted by the images of broken and bleeding bodies for weeks. To this day I cannot stand to look at those graphic images.
Those films and photos are VERY powerful, especially for young minds.
...I guess this means it’s about time for another pro-abortion movie from Hollywood.
Most people vote on economics and their pocket book, so although these poll results are great, it doesn’t necessarily translate into success at the political/governmental level.
You and I continue to see things in exactly the same way.

That’s wonderful your son is taking the time to make a difference! I don’t think abortion can be reduced/eliminated until people’s hearts are changed. I hope my kids hold fast to their values as they grow older.
Here is an essay my first grader wrote, completely with misspellings, I just have to share :) They were supposed to explain why others should vote for them for president. She won 2nd place in this category in the district Language Arts contest:
“I would be a good president. I can run fast to an immergensy. I will not tell the army to surender. I will not want ladys to aborshan. I can show good Integrity and I am Trustworthy. I Cooperate with Courage and Respect. I am very kind. I really want to lower the prises of the stores so the poor people can get food and water. We will have freedom and say anything you want to say. That’s all the laws. Vote for me today! Love, *****”
Obviously, she has a little learn about what kind of powers a president has, but I got a kick out of this, and realized she must be listening after all.
Libertarians. They answered this poll question the same way they answer every poll question: "Weed".
My take on this, is that for the first time they are releasing more accurate polling results.
I believe the vast majority of U. S. Citizens think killing the unborn is wrong. I just think they are conflicted by the extremely flawed argument that women have some ‘God given’ right or something, to do whatever they want with their bodies.
The idea that God could actually approve of his little ones being destroyed, is evidence of utter madness.
They want to destroy religion in the United States. We cannot let them.
ROTFLMAO... cut it out, you’re kiillin’ me.
Ultrasounds becoming more prevalent?
Ever see an ultrasound of a 10 week old fetus? About the size of a gummi bear I think but it kicks, it turns from side to side. All movements seem to have deliberate intention.
Only the most callous heart could abort after seeing that.
When someone tells me they are PRO-CHOICE I ask them to say out loud what the choice is. If they refuse to say it out loud then I ask them why are they afraid to vocalize what the choice is.
I think you’ve got a good tactic there. It should cause them to think about it when they get back home.
The stats have been tilting toward life for some time now. The truth is winning in the hearts of men.

God bless your son, I’m thinking of starting to take some courses to get a Master’s of Theology degree starting next year. Will be challenging with a family and a full time job, but I think it’s where the Lord wants me.
I’m saving the pictures of our children in the womb, so that when we have the abortion discussion with them, they can see that at 20 weeks, they looked like their baby pictures. And at 8 weeks we can see their little hearts and limbs.
I’m not that religious and do not go to church nether does my family
ears ago I never bothered about abortion or homosexuality
Years ago my girlfriend had an abortion and I never stopped her as I always thought it was her choice and besides I was young and stupid, ignorant and selfish.
This was when I was in the military having sex with different women nearly every night.
As years went by I saw how the homosexuals were pushing their agenda and thinking they could make people think they were to be accepted as a straight couple etc
woke up and did some research and find there is a sinister under currant to their agenda and it is not nice.
I got married ,,had kids etc and then I kept hearing about abortion and so I did my research again instead of being ignorant.
I find it an horrific act to do and I do not care what anyone says a baby is a human being the moment of conception full stop.
Now why am I saying this
Because I have to live with that abortion for the rest of my life and if I was not so selfish a child now would be living , going to school practise etc.
Every night I live with that and think how stupid and wrong I was.
The point is that more and mroe folks are seeing though ultrasound etc that there is a baby inside a woman and the method no matter how they do it is a murder
I know what I Did was wrong and I know I can never be forgiven ion what I did but I will fight tooth and nail for it to never happen again.
Every doc what has done this is a murderer, A doc is supposed to protect life not kill it.
Sorry for the rant but if a left wing troll is reading this then I hope you understand what I have said to you as just go look at an ultrasound and see that baby, see the legs etc and then ask yourself how the hell can you go and kill this baby because you are so wrapped up in your own life.
If you do not want the child then adoption, my wife and I along with others would take the child in and bring it in to our other 3 children but please do not kill it
I think this Notre Dame invitation is backfiring on Obama. He thought he could use it to divide Catholics from their bishops, but I don’t think he was counting on so many bishops making strong statements against the inviation. I think there are over 70 now.
