Wanda Sykes and her wife, Alex, welcomed twins on April 27, her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Daughter Olivia Lou weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 19-inches long. Son Lucas Claude debuted at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 20-inches long. The comedian’s wife gave birth to the babies.

A mother is more than a parent. A mother is someone who plopped you out of her body. There are step moms, foster moms, adoptive moms, etc, that all can reasonably referred to as “mother” if the real mom, for some reason, is out of the picture. This, apparently is not the case here. Real mom is there. Wanda is the girlfriend of the lesbian mom. That’s it.
Sorry - I missed the sarcasm because this “woman” brings out feelings in me that I’d prefer not to experience.
This is all news to me. I seem to remember Sykes was married to a man. More evidence against the born-that-way argument.

Wanda Yikes!!! Please paparazzi media please no more of this manwoman I saw her for the first time last week and I was hoping it would be the last. The babies are lost to their way of living it’s sad but true.
