Absolutely. I wish I had skipped mine, but only because it was boring. My dad was smart, he brought a magazine. Mine was pretty boring, too. Fortunately, my group was in the back of the auditorium, so we were able to engage in conversation.
My commissioning ceremony, the day before, had an element of excitement. A streaker ran across the Quad while we were taking our oath of office. My mom thought it was pretty funny.

I would be hesitant to use the term “man” when describing zero.

An Easter Prayer for Life
|
Happy Easter! We are in the season of the Resurrection, a special period of 50 Days from the Easter Vigil to Pentecost Sunday, in which the Church proclaims with particular emphasis and joy that death has been conquered and that by our baptism we have a share in the Risen Life of Christ! This is the season of life. We therefore invite all believers to pray the Easter Prayer for Life each day, to counteract the most widespread and violent attack on human life in our day, which is abortion. Please let us know that you are joining in this prayer campaign by filling out the form below. God bless you! Fr. Frank An Easter Prayer for Life (Click here for the Spanish version) Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Author of Life, Who died and now lives forevermore. May we who work and pray That children in the womb may be protected Always draw strength, confidence, and joy From Your victory over death,
For you are Lord forever and ever. Amen. |

**They have a golden opportunity to show what their Catholic faith and their studies and sacrifices at Notre Dame truly mean for them. They can stand up for the sanctity of life. They can reclaim Notre Dame for Christ and Our Lady.**
Amen to that.

Oh, Fr. Pavone has been in the cross-hairs of the pro-abortion movement for almost 20 years.Got that right and it was within the Catholic Church. Cardinal Egan really gave him a very hard time.

Wallace wouldn't be the best thing to cry out.
The media would not get it and think they were racist calling on George Wallace.

I love it that this billboard
is now up in two locations on Interstate 80/90 at the exits leading into South Bend, and will remain up for a month!

I could do one better.
While he makes the speech, fly over in a small plane with those ribbons trailing and have that slogan on the ribbon.

I think I recall reading that Lamar (if I’m not mistaken)
made them add choice to the board.
“Obama is pro-abortion choice”
Hope I’m wrong.
To: Mrs. Don-o
Why isn’t the Pope involved?
I have never understood that to date. There is still time.

This is the actual billboard:
The weasel-word "choice" is on the billboard, but I never got an explanation as to why. I'm sure they wouldn't have added it unless they were forced to. Do you know any more about it?

Y'know ... I've been following this and I wonder ... what is the student body's attitude?
Is there a good percentage of zero swooners in the graduating class?
What kind of conflict (if any) is being generated because of all of this?
