Obama Likes Wanda Sykes Joke About Rush Limbaugh I Hope His Kidneys Fail
To think he is O,K, with that type of humor! Wishing death on someone. Outrages and of course if a republican had sat thru that there would be hell to pay.
Your post made me think of one more concern that I have...
I know Rush is a gazillionaire...but I hope he $pend$ well and has great security...because the abject hate spewn at him is scary.
Just when I think that libs can't sink any lower, I'm treated to something like this. If Limbaugh had made a similar comment about Breyer or Ginsburg, the MSM would have have their pitch-forks out for him.
Watch this...it's right in front of your nose...
I hope she goes blind and suddenly can’t smell fish.
“The moronette didn’t even get the quote right. Rush never said he wanted the country to fail and she knows it.”
Of course she knows it, but let’s not forget the sort of mentality we’re dealing with, here. “In a recent editorial, Dr. Rossiter describes the unhappy psychological world of the liberal, which is filled with pity, sorrow, neediness, misfortune, poverty, suspicion, mistrust, anger, exploitation, discrimination, victimization, alienation and injustice. Those who occupy this world are.... poor, weak, sick, wronged, cheated, oppressed, disenfranchised, exploited and victimized.”

Rush in his own words:
Tue, 03 Mar 2009 http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_030309/content/01125106.guest.html
“If Obama’s policies ‘work’ — quote, unquote — you won’t recognize the America in which you live. The federal government will control the means of production, which is a key part of socialism. Why, in the name of God that created this nation, would I want that to succeed?” -Rush Limbaugh
“Someone should ask President Obama or Robert Gibbs, ‘Don’t you want Rush Limbaugh to fail? What does President Obama want conservatives to succeed at?’ Or you could ask, ‘Is Obama trying to permanently defeat conservatism so it’s not a viable force anymore?’ What part of our policy, agenda, philosophy, does Obama want us to succeed at?” -Rush Limbaugh
“Do you actually believe I want economic failure? Don’t you understand that Obama’s policies equal economic failure? It was Democrat Dick Gephardt who said that for every 100 point drop in market, they’d pick up another House seat. Now that was wishing for failure.” -Rush Limbaugh
Obama Aims to “Remake” Nation and Stamp It with His Own Emblem.
He wants to drive the country deep, deep into disaster, so he can ride in with government and remake the country as a high-tax, low-freedom, socialist republic.
“...Investor’s Business Daily today with a really nice op-ed editorial: “Capital on Strike.” Money is on strike. People with money are on strike, and the Obama administration sits back and does nothing but attack a guy on the radio? Claiming this is what I want? I have no control. I am not in charge of one Republican policy. I have not authored or advocated one policy that is in play today used by either party. I’m no different than you, I’m an average citizen, I have a microphone, I’m sitting around here watching all this, I’m watching my wealth dissipate just like every one of you are. It is fatuous, it is ignorant, and it is irresponsible for journalists to claim I want this to happen. My question would be to the journalists who are acting as total butt boys for this administration, you all have your own degree of wealth. You all have your own 401(k)s and your investment portfolios. Are you people happy to see them vanish before your very eyes? Is the idea of the remaking of America into a so-called socialist paradise so important to you that you will sit around and happily, without any concern, watch your wealth dissipate and everybody else’s?
This is Obama’s economy. They’re trying to slough this off on Bush. They’re trying to say all these deficits are Bush. They’re not going to get away with that. They’re not going to get away with that here. Nobody has spent like Obama, nobody has piled up debt like Obama. And it’s not over. This notion that I am for economic failure, or that anybody is for economic failure, is crazy. There’s one person who might be. Barack Obama. The one guy that could do something about this at least attitudinally is standing mute. Who benefits from this plunging economy? Ask yourself. Who gets more power? Who gets more curiosity? Who gets more panic? Who gets more anxiety? Obama does. And what does the panic and anxiety mean? How does it manifest itself? It manifests itself thus: “President Obama, please do something, please do something, Mr. Obama, please do something.” He goes out and makes a speech for national health care, “Ah, I feel better, Obama is on the case.”
Ask yourself who’s benefiting. Who said a crisis is a terrible thing to waste? That would be Rahm Emanuel. Who, again, orchestrates talking point phone calls with media members at ABC and CNN every morning? Does somebody have a problem with that, by the way?

Maybe I made it up? Dunno. Certainly would have expected that material for The Pres would be prior-approved.
I read the Imus material and didn’t see anything wishing bodily harm on anyone. Appeared all his material was “roast-type” material based on actual events of public knowledge (published stories). Roasts sting sometimes. Doesn’t mean they aren’t true. But that’s not quite the same thing as wishing someone would die and having The Pres laugh at it. Or is it?
It’s just not Presidential to me. Not in a public venue. He can be human and laugh behind closed doors, but he needs to act like a President when he’s in public. JMHO.
Julianne Malveaux, who expressed her feelings about Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on PBS' To the Contrary, "I hope his wife feeds him lots of eggs and butter and he dies early like many black men do, of heart disease".
The lib states wouldnt last 1 yr.
Good stinkin’ night!
If she was funny I could see it, but she’s a comedic nightmare. She can’t be paying somebody to write that tripe for her, could she?
Maybe Garfalo, or however in the crap she spells her name, is writing for her... maybe Baldwin, or Putin. Or maybe it’s just that her audience was comprised of a bunch of no-talent goobs who wouldn’t know humor if it slapped them in the face like a rubber chicken. And that briar-eatin’ possum-grin on Obama’s face... sheesh!
She's the president of a college. So much for "tolerance" in America's institutions of higher education.
Thank you!!! I had the wrong Malveaux...but right quote.
agreed, liberal utopia in the north east without us would be in shambles and you can bet the left would never want us to break away or they break away from us as who would pay their taxes and where would they get their agriculture, oil, energy etc
I for one though it is not welcomed by many on here would lose no sleep if we did break away as right now I am fed up of them coming down here telling us what to accept and what we should do and pay.
I am sure that the invited speaker is given some guidelines, but I seriously doubt there is any censorship of the materials or that the person must submit the speech beforehand. That was certainly not the case for Imus. It was one of the most celebrated and talked about speeches in the history of the event. I am surprised you were not aware of it.

The big difference between the Sykes speech and the one by Imus were the targets. Imus went after both Clintons and Peter Jennings. Sykes went after Obama's critics. Imus was attacked after the speech because many thought his comments were inappropiate for the venue and were offensive. The Clintons were sitting right there on the dais and had to take it in full public view. Rush and Hannity were not there.

Obama has never acted Presidential from the day he was inaugurated. His speech attacked his predecessor and he has gone downhill ever since. He is still acting like he is campaigning for President.
Barry is just Section 8 trash.
Laugh it up, Commie!
F****n’ scumbag pieces of dung!
Honestly, I try not to pay attention to Washington, and certainly not during the Clinton years. Politics/politicians are just as disgusting to me as the frenzy over American Idol. Politicians are so full of themselves, like Rock Stars, Actors, or Pro Athletes... All four groups have forgotten that they work for us. At least a lack of ticket sales makes three of those go away, but voter apathy doesn't make politicians go away. I digress... Anyway, even if I had heard much about the Imus speech at the time, clearly I didn't store it to my long-term memory. :-)
The Clintons were sitting right there on the dais and had to take it in full public view. Rush and Hannity were not there.
Exactly. That's the difference between a roast and "stand-up comedy" or personal attacks. It's one thing to make fun of your friends when they're in the room with you, it's another thing to attack one side's adversaries, like what is done during campaigning, as you said. Imus roasted a bunch of people in the room, on both sides of the political aisle, and therefore it wasn't a partisan attack - it was bi-partisan humor, laughing at reality. As you said, what Sykes did was different. It was stand-up comedy, partisan and personal in nature, and that was not the forum for that "act".
Obama has never acted Presidential from the day he was inaugurated. His speech attacked his predecessor and he has gone downhill ever since. He is still acting like he is campaigning for President.
You got that right! When he was campaigning, he was a Dem, and had every right to say things about Republicans or even the sitting Pres, in order to differentiate himself from them, so as to garner votes. But now that he is Pres, he needs to stop all that campaign behavior and run the country, ONE country, not continue to divide. Unfortunately, he simply is not Presidential, and never will be. As we all said, this is not a work-study program and there is no on-the-job training. He's a Junior Senator trying (unsuccessfully) to run with the big dogs. He needs to go back to the porch.
Unfortunately, your attitude represents the majority of Americans who aren't paying attention to what is going on in Washington while these politicians destroy this country. We had better get engaged or this country is a lost cause.
I will send a note to Fox - where did you hear that this bag of crap was getting a Fox show?
