From the Article: "Our friends at The Patriot Depot just received a call from Rosemarie in Ball, Louisiana alerting Patriot Depot that her brother-in-law was stopped by small town Louisiana police and detained by the roadside for half an hour. A background check was conducted to determine whether he was a member of an "extremist" group. Why? Her brother-in-law (name not disclosed for privacy) had purchased and displayed a conservative "Don't Tread on Me" bumper sticker on his car.
The bumper sticker is based on the famous flag designed by American Revolution era general and statesman Christopher Gadsden. The yellow flag featured a coiled diamondback rattlesnake ready to strike, with the slogan "Don't Tread on Me!" underneath it. ..."

I have a huge Gadsen flag filling my picture window, in the middle of barking moonbat land ~ Buffalo NY.
Waiting for a brick to come flying through some night.

That’s interesting. I live in NJ and Obama/Biden bumper stickers have all but disappeared in my Jersey Shore area. I keep looking for cars with those bumper stickers to “tea bag bomb”. I’ve not seen one since the Tea Parties.

Makes me question where the professional gun-carriers will come down if this fight for our country goes beyond mere words. (I’m afraid too many of them will behave like those kids-with-new-toys types at Waco - eager for a chance to play cops-n-robbers with real bullets.)
Apparently the enemy’s propaganda is paying dividends. Again, we’re on the defensive, playing catch-up.

Nevermind the total disrespect and colossal ignorance of American history this displays. Doesn't law enforcement have more important things to do with their time and resources?

Pretty sickening, especially when they also have that stupid Endless War sticker. I've seen some moron dozens of times, beginning during the primary elections, during my morning commute. He has two stickers on his Toyota Camry:
"Vote Democratic", and
"It's a Child, Not a Choice".
Bit of the ol' cognitive dissonance there, I guess.

Yeah Im a bit of a skeptic too, but if youve ever been to LA...theyll look for ANY excuse to pull ANYONE over. Often to illegally search your vehicle and possibly confiscate it. Theyre well known for this... Strange - I lived there for 40 years and the cops never bothered me. Just a speeding ticket or two (well-deserved) from my college days.
I've driven through Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Alabama in the past three months. There is a LOT more police activity now than there was in Nov. - Dec. 2008, when I last spent a lot of time on the road. Even the truckers are driving the speed limit, or very near to it. It's not to save fuel, either.

The Gadsden Flag was the Flag of the Country to be for a very brief moment in time.

When I lived in Maine I had my American flag stolen twice and trashed 3 times in 2 years by those fine patriots.

I understand your reservations regarding the report. My intent was not to "rabble-rouse", nor to promote fear, but to encourage folks to deal with the obvious abuse of authority by DHS head on, locally and nationally.
WorldNetDaily asked the receptionist about it - I guess it was a simple phone call that the wasn't passed along... kinda a 'no comment' posture.

It strikes me that a real domestic terrorist would put an Obama sticker on the vehicle, just to keep from getting pulled over.Is it just me, or does a car with an Obama sticker on it appear as though it has a target painted on it? Some sort of subliminal "kick me" sign.
