NAPLES Unhappy about being asked to leave a local watering hole, Naples police say a 21-year-old man took revenge: He unzipped his pants and urinated at the bar.
But if his mugshot is any indicator, the rest of his plan didnt go so swell.
Police say that on Wednesday night Graham Brunson, 2060 20th Ave. N.E., was causing a disturbance at the Bayfront Inn, 495 Goodlette-Frank Road, yelling obscenities and disturbing customers at the bar, according to an arrest report. When security asked him to leave, reports say Brunson unzipped his pants and urinated at the bar.
When police arrived, Brunson ran.
Four officers who were searching for him, found Brunson hiding in the bushes about a quarter-mile from the bar, reports said. Brunson ran again, and was chased down by Officer Ian Rudnick, who took him to the ground.
Brunson attempted to punch and kick Rudnick. The other officers came to Rudnicks aid, and helped handcuff Brunson, police said.
Once handcuffed, reports say Brunson went limp and had to be carried to the patrol car. While being transported to NCH Downtown Naples Hospital with injuries to his face, Brunson spit blood on an EMT, reports said.
Brunson was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, and disorderly intoxication.
Just returning his drinks.
