Chemical Warning: Bodies In London Hotel Two people have been found dead in a hotel room after a chemical incident, emergency services said. Police and fire services were called to the Seven Sisters Road in Finsbury Park, north London just before midday. The hotel has been evacuated. A spokeswoman for London Fire Brigade said: "We are treating this as a confirmed chemical incident. The hotel has been evacuated and cordon implemented." She said the substance involved was not known at this stage. The bodies are still at the scene, police said. A Met police spokeswoman said: "Police were called at 11.53am today to Costello Palace Hotel, Seven Sisters Road, N4, after two people were found deceased. "The bodies remain at the scene. We await confirmation regarding their sexes and cause of death. "Police and London Fire Brigade are in attendance. The hotel has been evacuated as a precaution."

As a former bellman, I know that many people do not have a clue what is appropriate for tipping, I wouldn’t assume anything...some tipped none, Willie Nelson tipped a Franklin (at least before his tax problems!). If this was an intentional death, she probably had other things on her mind, and perhaps the cash was for her sick child’s operation... or perhaps her planned romantic rendezvous turned out to be sham, so she grabbed a bottle of pills from her case and took them... or...

The point is, there are many miscellaneous factors involved. I saw many things...so very little would be implausible!

On second thought...If people on the street see a hotel evacuated and hazmat suits going in I suppose it is a good thing to inform the general public that it appears to be sad suicides..but area is contaminated...lest they panic and assume it is a terror plot gone awry.

The problem with using anthrax is that it isn’t a contagious disease. It is a one time shot only.

Many years ago there was a horrendous accident the Soviets tried to cover-up. It had occurred in the Ural Mountains at a bioweapons manufacturing facitlity that created pneumonic anthrax.

OMG. The number of deaths were horrific. This stuff is so finely “milled” it can fly on winds for hundreds of miles. But it is not contagious, simply fatal to those unfortunate to be in its path.

I didn’t know ammonia and bleach could kill you in a confined space! I just use vinegar and water to clean the tile floors. And I do know about vinegar and soda. I loved to clean the garbage disposal that way. Volcano!
