If Mitt Romney is in, I'm out!
Declaration of Independence | April 30, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/30/2009 11:50:51 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Yeah, I know. Said some similar things about Bush in 2000. But at least he was pro-life, pro-family, etc, and thank God we supported him over the idiot All Green Gore.

Said similar things about McCain in 2008. But when asked the question "when does human life begin?," and he unabashedly stated, "At conception, of course," I had to take notice. Then when he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, I decided to support her. I voted for Sarah (and the white haired old geezer that came along with the package).

But Romney is a NO go. And I don't care who this socialist, abortionist, homosexualist, constitution trampling bastard picks for running mate. If Romney's in I'm out!

G.O.P., R.I.P!

“Romney is an opportunist who places personal gain over everything”

The above statement, infortunately, describes all politicians.

Government, though necessary, is inherently evil.

There is no candidate that will meet purity laws. Palin certainly does not qualify either (though she was the primary reason I supported McCain)...her record is alreadt tainted with tax increases at the local level and on Big Oil. She is also wavering on Global Warming.

I find it interesting that the FR Founder wants to disqualify a candidate when none can meet true conservative standards. But, hey it’s his website.

Many are confused or don’t like how or his views in politics but to trash his personal life calling him baby killer when he never had abortions nor signed a bill to such and even annoyed some in his flock when he would try hard to council a women to carry her child to full term.

Most Democratic politicians have likely never triggered personal abortions in their relationships. But that doesn't mean the bulk of them aren't pro-abortion.

Romney has set the Republican executive record for sanctity of life waffles!

This kind of spirit will not attract the goodness we need to restore our constitution.M

So you believe, Resty, in the Mormon "White Horse Prophecy" that Joseph Smith made & dozens of LDS leaders-to-follow believed? That the constitution would supposedly "hang by a thread" and that the Mormons would rush in to save it -- including "Zion's elders?"

How are you defending Romney's personal life?

You pimp Romney over and over.

When have you defended Romney's wife, of whom
he should have been home taking care?

When have you defended Seamus, abused by Romney?

"But the details of the event are more than unseemly — they may, in fact, be illegal.
Massachusetts's animal cruelty laws specifically prohibit anyone
from carrying an animal "in or upon a vehicle, or otherwise, in an unnecessarily cruel
or inhuman manner or in a way and manner which might endanger the
animal carried thereon.
" An officer for the Massachusetts Society
for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals responded to a description of the situation
saying "it's definitely something I'd want to check out." The officer,
Nadia Branca, declined to give a definitive opinion on whether Romney broke the law
but did note that it's against state law to have a dog in an open bed of a pick-up truck,
and "if the dog was being carried in a way that endangers it, that would be illegal."

"Dog on Roof? What Was It Like for Romney's Pooch?
Scientists Say Dog Likely Experienced Wind-Whipped, Uncomfortable Trip
"Before beginning the drive, Mitt Romney put Seamus, the family's hulking Irish setter,
in a dog carrier and attached it to the station wagon's roof rack.
e'd built a windshield for the carrier, to make the ride more comfortable for the dog," read the article.
Jordan Kaplan, the owner of Petaholics, a dog walking service in New York City,
and a lifelong dog owner and dog lover, said Romney's actions were uncalled for.
....What Happens to a Dog on a Roof Traveling 50 MPH?"

"Romney's dog - This is a distinction Mitt Romney probably could do without, but he is surely
the first presidential candidate to be attacked for putting a dog with diarrhea
in a carrier and tying it to the top of a station wagon.
Romney's defense: Seamus liked it. "He scrambled up there every time we went on trips,"
the Republican said during a campaign stop in Pittsburgh. "He got in all by himself and enjoyed it."

"As the oldest son, Tagg Romney commandeered the way-back of the wagon,
keeping his eyes fixed out the rear window, where he glimpsed the first sign of trouble.
''Dad!'' he yelled. ''Gross!'' A brown liquid was dripping down the back window,
payback from an Irish setter who'd been riding on the roof in the wind for hours.
As the rest of the boys joined in the howls of disgust,
Romney coolly pulled off the highway and into a service station.
There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car,
then hopped back onto the highway."

"Story about dog on car roof comes back to bite Romney
Critics, jokesters make issue of tale
TIME.com's Swampland blog has been flooded with more than 200 comments
from readers complaining of animal cruelty"

Romney's bad behavior Exposed by Seamus

"Romney Loses Nomination Over Dog Abuse?
Romney was traveling that summer with his wife, five sons, and Seamus to his parent's cottage on Lake Huron.
But hours into the ride, Seamus apparently suffered diarrhea,
which ran down the back window of the car. Romney's sons, all under 13, howled in disgust.
Romney pulled off the road into a service station.
There, he borrowed a hose, washed down Seamus and the car, and they drove on to Ontario.
.....David Kravitz wrote on BlueMassGroup, a liberal blog.
"It also strikes me as classic Romney: it solves a problem efficiently,
in a business-like manner, and with no regard whatsoever
for the suffering that the solution may cause."

I don't care about how conservative he is in his personal life, that is not what we are voting for.

And would that not make him a hypocrite since publically there is ample evidence he has not been conservative in his political decisions more than a few times?

And despite all of your holier than thou bluster, you are ok with that.

Amazing...

Makes the rest of your post pretty much moot..

Romney’s actions AFTER LOSING the nomination were despicable, it resembled something the Clintons would do.

To call his health care socialized health care when it was in the private sector.

What? How "private" is it when govt. plants a Planned Parenthood member as a permanent board member of overseeing RomneyCare? How "private" is it when govt expands abortion by paying for it as if it was a "medical" act.

Politics is a dirty business. I ran for state Assembly as a college sophomore.

There were two attempts to bully me out of the race by established politicians. When that didn’t work, they spread a rumor that I was a LaRouche bot.

The criminal enterprise of government is fully of corrupt politicians. At the national level it is the same but on a more intense level.

Our job is to choose the least of the offenders. There will be no great choices.

 http://scriptures.lds.org/en/js_h/1/17#17

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”
20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother,
“I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

You are the one who uses bad language and think all else should follow you into Babylon!

You know like the Republican party should shape up so should the caliber of poster here who wallow in the lowest level of life in the name of factious idealism!

The Tea party should not be another watered down version of do as I say not as I do!

Those who want to use Crudely indecent talk should stay where they are at!

You talk a talk but your mind and how you use it says more about you than what you protest!
