If Mitt Romney is in, I'm out!
Declaration of Independence | April 30, 2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/30/2009 11:50:51 AM PDT by Jim Robinson

Yeah, I know. Said some similar things about Bush in 2000. But at least he was pro-life, pro-family, etc, and thank God we supported him over the idiot All Green Gore.

Said similar things about McCain in 2008. But when asked the question "when does human life begin?," and he unabashedly stated, "At conception, of course," I had to take notice. Then when he announced Sarah Palin as his running mate, I decided to support her. I voted for Sarah (and the white haired old geezer that came along with the package).

But Romney is a NO go. And I don't care who this socialist, abortionist, homosexualist, constitution trampling bastard picks for running mate. If Romney's in I'm out!

G.O.P., R.I.P!

No, I’m not a RINO - I can compromise just a little when so much is on the table.

You seem to have avoided the question - just like Democrats and RINO’s.

Who are the possible POTUS candidates that are acceptable to the pure conservative types like you? If there are none at this time, we are screwed.

All I’m saying is that the time is now, conservatives have got to pick someone and build to a nomination of that person. Or be on the outside looking in in 2012 once again.

Again, this is not about Romney.

It’s about anyone who posts something like the below about any person:

So, you find this ACCEPTABLE? I don’t.

Nice group of people with whom you associate.

I’ll wait until someone suitable throws his hat into the ring. If none do, then we’ll have to shift gears into a draft mode. The suitable candidate will probably be a successful governor with a proven conservative pro-life, pro-liberty, pro-small government record. That automatically rules out RINOs Gingrich, Rudy and Romney and all socialists, abortionists, gun-grabbers, homosexualists, TARP supporters, amnesty pushers, health insurance pushers, nationalized education pushers, global warming pushers, financial panic pushers, tax and spenders, liars, cowards, cheaters, two-faced turncoats, traitors, slippery politicians, etc, etc, etc.

Mitt Romney fits almost all of my noes!

It is more than a swing and a miss, BarnacleCenturion truly lies and makes things up. I have tried to get him to back up this claim before and he just moves on and puts it on another thread.

Here he is posting on massresistance. "That site is a blog created by Obama supporters."

This is the man that he tried to sell as a member of the romney family that had proudly served our nation in uniform.

Yeah...

Dont you remember ???

Romney cried that day in 1978 when he found out they are related...

(Actually I doubt that the general would want to admit to the lesser branch of the family that Willard Mitt Romney belongs too where they refuse to serve in the military)

Palin / Romney I would support. Romney / Palin ... nah.

- - - - - - - - -

Honestly, I am not sure I could not support either. And if Sarah chose Mitt as her running mate, I would lose some respect I have for her.

Romney needs to go, period.

It makes the forum and conservatives look more than just a little bad and is a total embarrassment.

I agree. You Mittbots make this forum and conservatives look bad and are a total embarrassment,

The key word in that sentence was the last word — ANYONE.

And it was even in UPPER CASE.

Dont twist my words...

I dont find ANYTHING that Romney has said ACCEPTABLE...

I have yet to read anything Romney has said that was close to conservatism...

He has an UNACCEPTABLE record as a politician...

He was bred and groomed to be a politician..

By his father George...

another UNACEPTABLE failed politician...

George hated Ronald Reagan...

and so does Mitt..

How can anyone who badmouths Reagan...

and acts like a Benedict Anold...

EVER be ACCEPTABLE to conservatives ???

She also spoke about feeling allegiance with former presidential hopeful Mitt Romney. “He said all the right things about resource development in Alaska,” she said.

- - - - - - - - - -

A great example of eisogesis, reading something INTO a text rather than reading OUT of the text (exegesis).

A reporter reporting that she “felt allegiance” is not the same as a quote of her saying she had some allegiance (feeling allegiance and supporting are not the same things).

Furthermore. A comment that “He SAID all the right things” does not mean support either.

Until I see her wearing a Mitt button, there is no support, much less enough evidence to support the claim (that has been made on this thread) that she VOTED for him in the primaries.

The very nature of someone who would agree with Romney’s liberal stances is of one who cares less what
others think of him or her...

Anyone with any self respect would not back Romney..

Well said, Nana.
