The first case was seen in Mexico on April 13. The outbreak coincided with the President Barack Obama’s trip to Mexico City on April 16. Obama was received at Mexico’s anthropology museum in Mexico City by Felipe Solis, a distinguished archeologist who died the following day from symptoms similar to flu, Reforma newspaper reported. The newspaper didn’t confirm if Solis had swine flu or not.

Tomorrow, my cousin will be buried. She had scleroderma and then caught “valley fever” and it collapsed her respiratory system. She was in Arizona.
She was a lifelong Christian and a wonderful woman who will be deeply missed by her family.

However, I am reminded of the 1913 Flu in that it only affected the 23-46 age set as well (those ages may be slightly off). That flu epidemic went through and killed mothers and fathers, and children were orphaned. Same with older individuals who were in relatively good health. That’s part of the reason this flu is rather scary... In the short articles I’ve read some of they symptoms seem so similar — especially the age group of the fatalities...

Could have been sick as a dog but the draw to meet “the One” was overpowering.
The information itself is going to cause a problem and here’s why. When I worked in the ER, anytime the local news did a story about something “going around”, like an outbreak of “whooping cough”, we were sure to be inundated with parents of kids (nowhere near the oubreak) with colds who were convinced their child had that “hoopy cough.”
It was a strain on the sytem and the staff. I wonder what this information is going to do with regards to a run on the Emergency Rooms.
I don’t like what obama’s been doing to this country, actually I hate what obama’s been doing to this country. That being said, I’m sending my prayers up and asking the Lord to protect obama and his family from the disease that killed the man that obama came into contact with.
