It reminds us all that, if we are ever in the know about any scandalous business, to have some evidence in a safe deposit box or with an attorney or something. That way if we suddenly decide to kill ourselves, the truth will not die with us.
This may have been a real suicide, too, of course. It may not even had anything to do with Freddie Mac. My extreme sympathies to those he left behind. They are the real victims.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but it’s entirely possible that it wasn’t a homicide.
The person who did the chopping and stuffing could have come across a corpse that died of natural causes.

He tied his hands behind his back so he could shoot himself in the head not once but twice, he then proceded to cut himself into small pieces before putting his head into a noose.
Things you just don’t want to think of, let alone believe.
It is possible that he couldn't stand the pain of choking to death.
