WASHINGTON -- As a senator, Barack Obama led the charge last year to pass a bill allowing black farmers to seek new discrimination claims against the Agriculture Department. Now he is president, and his administration so far is acting like it wants the potentially budget-busting lawsuits to go away.
The change isn't sitting well with black farmers who thought they'd get a friendlier reception from Obama after years of resistance from President George W. Bush.

The List, ping
They thought Zero was all ears...
So Obama is not what they thought he was huh? Amazing...[/sarc]
LOL! Hey you all need to understand exactly what the word plantation means as it applies to democrats...
they’ll hold that carrot under their noses forever
Thats what you get when you vote race first.
I guess these black farmers are next to be added to Nappie’s DHS list.
They seem to forget he is only 6.25% black, 50% white and the rest African tribal group, Luo. Why would he help black farmers? He is a lead apologizer to the world for every nitpicking thing the US has ever done to another country, real and perceived, and has no time for American black farmers. They have been thrown under the bus now that he is President.
We need signs that say ‘I TOLD YOU SO!’ Blacks thought their savior had arrived but not happening. They are Americans and all of us have been put at the back of the bus so ZERO can go out in the world and embrace dictators.
Maybe this will wake them up. Hey, the Dims are just using you for the votes! Wake up!!!!!!
I don’t think the farmers are asking for $3 trillion.
Don't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
Always remember the prisoners in Uncle Joe's gulags cried when Stalin died.
Same phenomenon.
The real problem with people who are as flawed as Obama is, is that they will sooner or later betray everyone. This generally comes as a huge shock to their supporters.
While I don’t like what is taking place today, in certain instances some of it was taking place under his predecessor, and we didn’t know about it.
Frankly, Washington, D.C. is so screwed up, it’s tough to see the light at the end of the tunnel these days.
I’m surprised BHO didn’t promise them he would give them a farm or two after he kicked off the present occupants. But BHO has bigger fish to fry... like becoming the President of the World.
