National Right To Life and its local chapters like this one are part of the GOP Establishment and it was important to use this event to rebuild Steele.
I guess we should be glad he said what he did but what will he say somewhere else in the future.
He has made statements that are contadictory on numerous occasions in the past.
This is a political move to coax campaign money into GOP coffers but unless the RNC says no to Arlen Specter, which it won’t right now, many see no reason to contribute.
Steele is a fraud, plain and simple; like the Oprompter, he’s only saying what what people want to hear, and so doing to obtain power and money.

Let him start making those kind of clear statements in front of a hostile audience (i.e., in front of the MSM) and I'll regain my faith in him. Until that time, you can add a "ditto" for me, as well.
He can say whatever he likes in front of a friendly crowd.
Unless and until he does something about liberals voting in our primaries ... and takes some kind of public action against Snowe, Collins and Spector, I have no use for Michael Steele.

When Steele talks like that as a guest on Meet the Press or Face the Nation or the View then maybe I'll start to believe him. He has a bad tendency to talk conservative to conservatives and liberal to liberals. He needs to talk conservative to liberals before he has any credibility with me.
