Tomorrow is Tax Day, and conservatives across the country are planning "Tea Parties," intended to be grass-roots "revolts" against the Obama administration's economic policies thus far. Though organized independent of the Republican Party, a number of officeholders and candidates are planning to attend local events.
At the White House, Robert Gibbs said that he's not sure if President Obama is aware of the planned demonstrations. He will, however, mark the day with a White House event "to signal the important steps in the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment plan that cut taxes for 95 percent of working families in America," Gibbs said.
"We'll use tomorrow to highlight individual instances and families that have seen their taxes cut," he said. "Americans will see more money into their pockets as a direct result of the making work pay tax cut that the president both campaigned on and passed through Congress."

Working on top priority stuff - like bringing up his bowling score.
Of course Obama is not aware of this massive public unrest. He wasn't aware of Jeremiah Wright's sermons or Bill Ayers' activities. He wasn't aware of Blago's auction. He isn't aware that tens of trillions of government bloating will turn that tax cut for 95% into the "regrettably" largest future tax increases in history.
“Robert Gibbs said that he’s not sure if President Obama is aware of the planned demonstrations” “Tax cuts for 95%”
LYING SACK OF CHIT!
750 events planned for today. GOD SAVE THE REPUBLIC!

Down here in Greenville, SC, there's a tea party today and a huge one being planned by a local Young Republicans group for Friday afternoon. Congresscritter Gresham Barrett is scheduled to speak, and as to WHY, I do not know. He voted for the stimulus package and has since "apologized" recently in a private setting to a group of businessmen. I hope he gets resoundly boo'd off the stage. I'll be there and will be one of the many voices yelling for this low-life to hit the road.
Just like they allowed the ban on oil exploration to lapse so they could appear to be for energy independence, but look what their real intent was. They are on a zealous religious binge to have and to hold power ever more.
And the majority of Americans saw ‘green’ and tilting windmills and rays of sunshine. American is on the road to bondage and that ideal of a ‘free’ people is vanishing right before our eyes and the Jon Stewart media is swooning and heaping high praise upon their ‘blessed’ leader.
And of course the LameStream Media gave Hussein and his puppy Gibbs a pass on this blatant lie.
Yep. Of course, the LameStream Media also will not ask Hussein any tough questions. They, like Gibbs, are pets to Hussen.
Is this a joke? WHAT “tax cuts??????”
$10 a week. Big freaking deal.
The heck with him. He can keep his $13 bucks.
Did he say it with the same lying smirk as when he tried to have us believe Obama did not bow to the Saudi King but rather had to lean forward to grasp his hands? Does this dope think we're all idiots? We're told he needed his blackberry to keep in touch with the pulse of the nation yet he isn't aware of the protest?
Because without THESE people the government would soon cease to operate in the manner it is now.
Yep...we all do...
And the crappy thing about those nickel-and-dime taxes is that they never (or rarely) go away.
The politicians might catch a little grumbling by the people, but it’s usually forgotten the following month.
But politicians who make reductions in those little taxes a part of their campaign are ridiculed by their opponents for not addressing more important issues.
The 0bama regime continues the Big Lie of “tax cuts for 95% of the population.” Saw Gibbs on Fox about two weeks ago. He claimed 0bama’s budget reduced the deficit, too. Even though it is three or four times last year’s record deficit!
I can’t stomach the blatant lies from these people. They make me sick.
Like I said, tossing pennies in order to distract people from fiscal rape.
A recent poll disclosed that half of Americans believe that income taxes are imposed fairly. Coincidentally, about half of all Americans pay NO income taxes.
And Obama wants to further widen the gap.
