CNN saying the captain jumped overboard again! This time, apparently with Seals in the water. That makes me wonder if the President took a decision at all. I was just about ready to give Obama grudging credit for eventually having gotten around to giving the go ahead, but I can't see SEALs in the water around the boat doing anything else in those circumstances, go code or not.

4th Pirate was probably to busy sh***ing his pants to fight back. It was mentioned that the 4th pirate was on the navy ship negotiating.

Probably the loons in Hollywood won't make such a movie - they hate the military too much.
This is better than any movie.
The captain was supposedly tied up - tied to the boat, inside.
How did he get loose? (Seal, cutting the ropes, maybe?)
The story will be slow in coming...

The captain jumping overboard again shows some true moxie after several days of weakening. I’m glad our guys were ready.
To: OldNavyVet
Given our current president, my guess is the Captain grabbed a gun.He certainly proved repeated times that he wasn't afraid of them. If true, his brave acts will save timid folks a lot money, blood, toil, and sweat for perhaps a few years.

Their fellow SEALs will know what they did and recognize them for a job well done. That's probably better than any recognition the public can give them.I hear you. Heroes every single one of them!!!!

Seals probably scuba’d in and popped out of the water right next to them.
Middle of the night there now.
Piece o cake.

Now that there is a happy ending, how long will it be before Obama calls in the kleig lights and teleprompters to take credit for the result?

You’re kidding, right? They won’t make him “dance”. Bambi’s government will treat that captured criminal better than they treat YOU! :-)
Nevertheless, thanks to God for our Navy and for Captain Phillips safe return.

Good point, but I like to think of pirate prisoners as kleenix, cheap and disposable. Once he’s been squeezed for whatever information he’s got, zzzzzip.

Miracle on the Aden seaFor the book title? Nah -- this was no miracle. Heroics, skill, training and more heroics. Maybe a little bit of luck.
