This was one of our songs for our high school basketball championship game back when I was there. Just change some of the words and you’ll get the picture, lol.
This is how our team/cheerleaders sang it:
Got a lot of points between us, lets hang on to what we got..
You say you’re gonna chuck it all and blow it to bits...
Let’s hang on to what we got, don’t let go girls, to what we got, we got a lot of points between us..hang on, hang on to what we got...
I pay any price to...
Let’s hang to what we got, girls...meaning the points, lol. Got a lot of game between us...
There isn’t anything we wouldn’t do...Pay any price to get in good...don’t cool off while we’re burning...
Let’s hang onto to what we got, girls, don’t let go girls, we got a lot, got a lot of points between us...hang on, hang on, to what we got.
Heh, different take on this song, lol. For me, it’s about the game, the sport, since it was the song we used during one of our seasons back in high school. We Are The Champions is another one ;)
I’m glad he is a good Dad.
Dads are very important to raising well grounded kids.
I’m sure you are a great Grumpa.
Thanks, Es, for spinning tunes for the troops. ((HUGS))
How are you and your umbrella this week? It’s been above freezing every day this week, and the weather guy says possible snow flurries tonight. UGH!
Diaper phobia...LOL.
BRAT-Connie!!! LOL!
WOOOHOOO!
LOL!
‘s ok!
Whoa!
That one got to me BIG TIME!
Better watch it, you’ll make yourself choke up.
Sounds like you are having difficulty shaking off winter too.
Nope...
I didn’t have a dad in my life to guide me.
I just got lucky and found the military to set me straight.
