WASHINGTON — Tinkering with Earth’s climate to chill runaway global warming — a radical idea once dismissed out of hand — is being discussed by the White House as a potential emergency option, the president’s new science adviser said Wednesday.

Obama climate czar has socialist ties
Group sees 'global governance' as solution

by Stephen Dinan

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

By Thursday, Mrs. Browner's name and biography had been removed from Socialist International's Web page, though a photo of her speaking June 30 to the group's congress in Greece was still available.

VENEZUELA: Chavez calls for global offensive for socialism
August 31, 2005

excerpts...

"The environment is suffering damage that could be irreversible — global warming, the greenhouse effect, the melting of the polar ice caps, the rising sea level, hurricanes — with terrible social occurrences that will shake life on this planet."

"I believe this idea has a strong connection with reality. I don't think we have much time. Fidel Castro said in one of his speeches I read not so long ago, 'tomorrow could be too late, let's do now what we need to do'."

"I believe it is time that we take up with courage and clarity a political, social, collective and ideological offensive across the world — a real offensive that permits us to move progressively, over the next years, the next decades, leaving behind the perverse, destructive, destroyer, capitalist model and go forward in constructing the socialist model to avoid barbarism and beyond that the annihilation of life on this planet."

--Hugo Chavez, at the 16th World Festival of Youth and Students, held in Caracas on August 8-15, 2005

Why not just do it on Mars? Start now and in 10-20 years who knows maybe there can be a breathable atmosphere.

Obama will simply fly at super speed around the Earth, thus reversing the planet’s rotation and send us back in time to a cooler, humbler place.

Just today I read more crap that man made particulates
are cutting sunlight by 20%, but trapping the heat, and causing warming that will kill us all.
Now they tell us that we need to shoot particulates
into the atmosphere to block the sun and cut the heat.

Go figure.

One option raised by Holdren and proposed by a Nobel Prize-winning scientist includes shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun’s rays.

A much safer localized idea is helping nature create trillions of tiny floating mirrors to reflect sunlight out to space. The most obvious solution to active climate management is never mentioned. I'm not saying we should actually do this, just that we should develop the technologies to do it cheaply if we need to.

The principle to look out for here is “If you broke it, you bought it”.

If the US screws around with the global climate, we are going to be blamed for every typhoon, hurricane, tornado, earthquake or rained-out picnic until the end of time. It’s not our job to play God.

Let alone the fact that they are “solving” a problem that does not exist...

Last Summer was so cool in New Jersey I did not get a single tomato over 1 inch diameter to ripen. I was getting by on cherry tomatoes all summer. The soil never got warm enough, because we never had more than one or two warm days in a row.

If the same thing happens this summer, come September I am going to box up a couple of bushels of rotted green tomatoes and ship them off to Washington DC, with a note that says "I got your Global Warming right here..."

So they want to suck the heat out of the atmosphere. Where will they send it, into the ocean, back into the atmosphere?

Idiots.

I was flying out to Kansas a few weeks back, and the airplane flew near the Three Mile Island nuclear plant in Pennsylvania. It was easy to find the plant because it was at the apex of a huge cloud of water vapor that stretched for dozens of miles.

When Krakatoa let loose in 1883, the clouds of dust and debris it produced obscured the sun and resulted in decades of icy temperatures, failed crops and famine. There is some speculation that the Dark Ages - which were “dark” in part because of the severe cold and resulting famines that swept Europe at that time - were triggered by volcanic eruptions that left clouds of dust in the atmosphere and effectively prevented enough sunlight from reaching the earth.

Now we have our very own president who is casually declaring his wish to duplicate this and bring an end to one of the most globally prosperous periods we have known (if it weren’t for Communist thug dictators like Obama’s African relatives and the Islamic wackjobs, the world would actually be living fairly well). In fact, he could well put an end to human life with this, which is actually the objective of some of the nutty “environmentalists” he has placed in positions of power.

It’s not enough for him to destroy business, America or the West in general; his arrogance and thirst for power are so great that he is now seriously discussing something that could end human life worldwide.

Hundreds of Billions spent ‘cleaning’ up the air around us, and, now, the LibTards have the idea that putting stuff back into it (polluting it) is the right thing to do. Un-freaking-real!

Only the DhimmiRats and LibTards could come up with this insanity.

I’ve had enough of 0bama’s socialism.
